Customer Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical assistance promptly and effectively.

Product Training: Provide training sessions & educate customers on how to effectively use the product or service to maximize its value.

Onboarding: Guide new customers through the initial setup and implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition onto the product or service.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for operational matters on the assigned vessels. The position supports the smooth conduct of daily operations in the ship agency together with the other members of the operations department.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure high service levels are delivered for all ships where Grandteam is appointed as the shipping agent.
• Assist with Husbandry arrangements, crew changes and other coordination tasks while meeting the tight deadlines.
• Work closely with the other team members within operations / accounts to deliver strong results.
• Coordinate with ICA/MPA/Ship Owners and other statutory bodies as required to perform the various ship husbanding tasks.
• Knowledge and use of Digitalport to perform the various agency tasks
• Effective communication with various stakeholders during ongoing operations
• Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.).

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in shipping/logistics/transportation industry.
• Detail Oriented with strong organization skills.
• Monitor e-mails / phone calls over the weekends / night as shipping is a 24X7 industry.
• Knowledge of dealing with statutory government organizations like ICA/MPA is preferred.
• Knowledge of local Terminal Operators PSA/Jurong Port/Keppel/Sembawang for owners and commercial liaison is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to take on independent responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

• To attend to all sales inquiries, RFP/ITQ and tenders in a prompt and timely manner, within 24- 48 hours.

• Prospect and qualify new leads through various channels, such as inbound calls, cold calling, whatapps, email marketing, online inquiries, Philippines contact center.

• Contacting prospects and partners through various channels – reaching out on WhatsApp, telephone and/or emails.

• Gather critical information to prepare Sales Managers for the demos/meeting

• Deliver compelling sales pitch and proposals that highlight the value of our products or services.

• Execute lead allocation to best-fit sales manager to increase closing rate.

• Scheduling sales meetings and web demos – perform follow-ups for missed appointments and rescheduling of appointments.

• Execute and assist Sales Managers in effective sales strategies to convert leads into paying customers.

• Monitoring sales cycle for sales managers by promptly replying to sales inquiries, perform multiple follow-ups, expediate closing deals and chasing payments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, partnership and support to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Support all sales and marketing initiatives, including ad-hoc roadshows/events

• Collaborate with PHP call center in acquiring quality leads for web demos.

• Prepare and deliver lead allocation reports and presentations.

• Consistently update Hubspot, ensuring data integrity.

Job Qualification/Requirements:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in any field

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a B2B environment, especially within the service and consulting industry

• Knowledge in HR solution system or HR function would be at advantage.

• Ability to provide good customer service.

• Strong communication skills and a pleasant personality.

• Ability to adapt to changes and evolving business needs.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and display abilities as a good team player.

• CRM (Hubspot) and automation tools familiarity is a plus.

• Interest in sales

• This position would require communicating with Chinese speaking client

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in HR Studies or relevant
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources role
• Proficient in English and Chinese both spoken and written to liaise with Chinese speaking counterparts
• Able to commence work in Jan 2025

Customer Service is to manage the customer services activities within warehouse to meet customer needs.

• Communicate with team members and our customers via both email and phone calls

• Customer’s order and data processing on WMS (warehouse management system)

• Verify operational documents with billing summaries to be sent to customers

Requirements
