Main Purpose of the Job:

To provide the full suite of MEP cost and commercial management project services typically expected of our Commercial, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Advanced Manufacturing/R&D and hospitality clients.

Job Description:

Full MEP cost & commercial management services from project inception to completion, including but not limited to, budget establishment, cost estimation, cost reporting, consultant and contractor procurement, valuations, contract administration, change control and administration and final account closure. Ability to work with a team of cost consultants across multiple projects.

Job Requirements & Person Specification

Mandatory requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, MEP engineering or similar
• Minimum of 8 years’ total QS/cost consultancy working experience in Singapore
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on mission critical projects in Singapore
• Experience of at least two of the following- Commercial, CRE/office fit out project for an MNC, advanced manufacturing/R&D/laboratory project
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with a QS/cost consultancy firm in Singapore
• At least one project with minimum project value of S$5 to S$10m.
• Based in Singapore or Singaporean
• Fluent in English with good interpersonal skills

Desirable attributes

• RICS or SISV qualification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with BIM, CostX, Glodon and other cost management tools.
• Ability to work with international stakeholders will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experience on Capital Allowances, Capex, LCC, Due diligence reports.
• Ability to provide full cost management solutions on builders works in addition to MEP works

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

AR Manager

• Manage Billings team of two Billings Executives, overseeing their work and managing allocation of tasks
• Issue Invoices & credit notes to clients for fee billing & E submission in Government website
• Ensure correct account allocations and compliance with GST requirements
• Prepare and consolidate fee forecasting cash flow schedule for clients
• Handling enquiries regarding projects fee billing
• Liaise with Clients, project Directors & project managers on project status for fee billing
• Checking of fee agreements
• Month End closing activities for Accounts Receivables
• Perform ad hoc accounting, reporting and analysis tasks as required
• Credit Controller
• Pro-active processing of daily collections from customers
• Conduct rigorous follow-up procedures with timely and efficient issue resolution.
• Regular meetings and follow-up with Project Directors/Project Managers on working capital management (i.e. Account Receivables) and ageing debts with pro-active issue resolution.
• Work with clients on overdue balances; agree instalment payment plans if appropriate.
• Reporting activities such as weekly collections update and monthly accounts receivable ageing analysis
• Management of bad debt provisions including regular review and follow up, and monthly recommendations for accounts to be provisioned or written off if required

• Advanced level Excel essential, with ability to use other Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
