IT Program Developer

Our Client is a plastic machinery manufacturing company. They are looking for an IT Program Developer to design and build new application programs for their systems. This person will be based in Singapore.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
• Create and update user manuals to allow users to be able to use the systems

Key Required Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related courses
• At least 3 years of experience in application development and support
• Experience in designing and building applications
• Required knowledge includes Java, servler, jsp, freemaker, Spring, Hibernate, JPA
• Skilled in HTML, Javascript, Vue, React and other frameworks
• Experienced in Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server; and able to write SQL statements
• Knowledge in FIORI and ABAP will be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of O365, including SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools

The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to alerts and incidents, and ensuring the organization’s security controls are effective. This role involves creating and tuning security device metrics, documenting processes, and identifying unusual activities by correlating events. Strong analytical skills, collaborative abilities, and an in-depth understanding of both current and emerging security technologies are essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Monitoring & Advisory: Continuously monitor and provide guidance on security issues related to systems and workflows, ensuring that internal security controls are appropriate and functioning effectively.
2. Incident Response Coordination: Lead and coordinate responses to information security incidents, minimizing impact and supporting rapid resolution.

9. User Security Awareness: Design, conduct, and maintain user security awareness training to strengthen the organization's security culture.
10. Security Research: Stay informed of the latest security policies and conduct research to continually enhance the organization’s security posture.
11. Additional Security Duties: Undertake other security-related tasks as assigned to support organizational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in IT, with a background in security monitoring and response.
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with IT network infrastructure, server platforms (Unix, Windows), and desktop systems (OS X, Windows XP and above).
  • Proficiency with security tools such as Security Endpoint solutions, HP ArcSight, QRadar, Rapid7 Nexpose, and Tenable Nessus.
• Certifications: One or more of the following certifications are required: QISP, CISSP, Cybersecurity Nexus, CompTIA Security.

• Position: IT Field Service Engineer (Maintenance support/Servers/ Network/ Storage for-IBM/DELL/ HP)

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide post sales maintenance support on servers/storage (IBM/HP/DELL/SUN) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) at customer locations;

• Handling of hardware migration/implementation project;
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance;
• Escalation and management of complex issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder or above in Computer Engineering/Science or related discipline;
• Possessed at least 3 years of experience in IT hardware maintenance service on server, network and storage preventive.
• Strong server and storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantage;
• Be a quick learner in acquiring new system skills and working with new technologies;
• Capable of using operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Unix, ESX, and Linux are preferable;
• Proficiency in solving computer hardware related issues for IBM, DELL, and HP;
• Able to provide nonoffice hours standby and support service

Job Description

• Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system.
