Asia Philanthropy Circle (APC) is a community of philanthropists who are collaborating to chart a fair, prosperous, and sustainable future for Asia. Our members, across 13 markets, champion social innovation for public good, and pioneer collaborative approaches to address systemic challenges. Through our collective impact, APC aims to accelerate public good for a better Asia. We are a registered charity headquartered in Singapore.

Founded by Asian philanthropists, APC furthers the aspiration for collective impact through peer exchanges, collaborative projects and the development of initiatives and knowledge resources to build the regional social impact ecosystem.

APC’s new 2023-2027 strategy focuses on amplifying the collective impact of our close-knit community through continuing to grow community & capacity for strategic giving, through seeding collaborative initiatives and through ecosystem building and strategic partnerships for scale. A major portfolio is developing around climate, particularly its intersections with other SDGs and key areas of societal development in Asia. Hence, we are looking for a Climate Lead/Head to spearhead our efforts in supporting members and the wider ecosystem with climate action. This person will lead the development of a portfolio of work that would include community & relationship building, conducting research that leads to action; conceptualizing and driving climate-focused projects; and establishing productive working relationships and impactful collaborations between APC members and with the wider climate and development impact ecosystem.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven leader with experience at organizations dedicated to inspiring and engaging people through game-changing insights and action to shape the future of climate philanthropy in Asia, building on the successes of the two-year APC Climate Collective. Responsibilities include:

1. Develop and execute APC’s Climate Portfolio

• Lead scoping, design, and research. Drive the development of insights into actionable ideas for addressing climate change in Asia and their intersection with development, in order to identify the highest-impact interventions for Asian philanthropy to engage on the issue.

• Deliver recommendations for projects that ground APC members in climate issues and action. Provide clear, effective evidence-based recommendations for philanthropic and stakeholder action, by cutting through complexity to propose collaborations and/or solutions with a good chance of success.

• Proactively identify common themes for collaborative action. Identify and share avenues for collective action with members, including with regional and international climate actors and other collectives. Facilitate the collaboration process to co-fund climate projects.

2. Build a Community Around Climate Issues

• Plan, coordinate and facilitate the Climate Portfolio’s activities to provide a fulfilling experience for different types of members in their journey exploring climate philanthropy

• Engage with APC members to understand interests and create interesting interactions. Based on collective intelligence from research, projects or member experience, develop tools, resources and events for learning and action in the areas of biggest need.

• Inspire stakeholders toward action, by connecting with new knowledge and interesting partners. Manage multi-stakeholder projects / teams to common outcomes and deliverables.

• Provide targeted issue-based research support to help groups of members strategise and implement their climate philanthropy activities.

• Build strong relationships with ecosystem stakeholders (e.g. academia, civil society organizations, government, intermediaries etc.)

3. Amplify Portfolio’s Impact through Communications and Partnerships

• Enable APC to exercise thought leadership. Create or facilitate creation of content for publication in-house or in industry publications, news media, social media etc. with support from others no the team including leadership team and the Communications Manager.

• Develop and execute influence and partnership strategies. With team support, identify key target audiences and develop narratives, communications strategies, and partnership strategies to achieve impact goals identified for climate in Asia. May include building coalitions and partnerships to navigate political landscapes and accelerate action.

• Lead content for climate-focused events, executing communications in close partnership with the APC Communications Manager. Represent APC on climate issues and act as liaison with external stakeholders and potential partners.

4. Contribute to a Positive Team Culture

• Drives the climate portfolio, with team support. Thoughtfully leads self, and where appropriate, provides direction, cultivates ownership, and removes obstacles to work for other team members, including staff at related organisations.

• Develops talent. Proactively manage their own professional development together with the direct supervisor, and formally supervise and/or informally mentor others

• Nurtures innovation. Build a culture of openness to feedback, learning and innovation and that reflects APC’s values and actively seek out opportunities to identify and implement initiatives to increase effectiveness across the team or portfolios of work.

This is a full-time role based in Singapore. An integral part of the team, this candidate will be involved in multiple aspects of APC’s work with other team members. This is an opportunity to shape the growth of Asian philanthropy at multiple levels.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of relevant work experience preferably in a strategic or stakeholder management role, especially with regular interactions with senior stakeholders

• Past experience in climate, nature and/or environment issues

• Adept with a variety of writing and communication styles to frame ideas and concepts effectively for different target audiences

• Desirable: Track record of community building

• Desirable: Experience in the social impact or public sector, or at least demonstrated interest and/or experience in nonprofits, philanthropy/grant-making and/or public policy

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to help drive product strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement for our Customer & Content Value Team.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As Lead/Senior Product Manager, you will focus on one or more of our flagship media publications. You will move fast to refine clear scope and product requirements, question assumptions, identify issues where appropriate, and proactively identify and raise product risks. You will work to define and build critical experiences that will help us match customers with content they love.

You will be a key player at the intersection of business and technology, supporting the growth of SPH through the successful creation and operation of our end consumer facing features. You will interact with external partners and internal users, as well as interface with groups across SPH. You will collaborate with the editorial teams, and internal Engineering and Business teams amongst others to enhance the reach, engagement and monetization of our products.

As a Lead/Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Define and execute the roadmap with clearly articulated and well measured goals
• Identify, define and execute on projects that elevate the usability, novelty, and comprehensiveness of discovery pathways
• Drive understanding of how and where discovery initiatives can bolster content discovery and engagement
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and other partner teams to create discovery experiences that are meaningful and delightful to consumers
• Collaborate across teams to optimise content classification, browsing, and conversion experiments and measure firmly understood hypotheses and business objectives
• Plan and prioritise the backlog for development teams to ensure maximum value in deliverables
• Interpret insights and business needs and transform into detailed product requirements documents and user stories for engineering teams to execute

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, analytical or related field
• 12+ years of total experience preferably in consumer product management in complex organisations
• Strong communication skills - Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions
• Exceptionally strong execution skills to create high standard product specifications, product success metrics and drive product delivery through multiple teams
• Strong analytical skills, experience in data driven hypothesis testing and experimentation
• Experience of deeply understanding customer needs, pain points & closely working with design teams to rapidly iterate and improve user experience
• Strong team player with demonstrated ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and rally teams towards a common goal
• Experience driving long term strategy and business outcome ownership for key initiatives
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives & priorities simultaneously

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years experience working on e-commerce products, B2B/B2C subscriptions, payment purchase workflows
• Strong experience in UI/UX and ability to give designer feedback
• Background in technical role is a plus; Ability to recognize the benefits and limitations of the technical design of a feature, and engage with engineering to make informed trade-off decisions

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of account associates in providing quality accounting and taxation services.
• Manage and ensure the preparation of financial reports and tax by the team in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage the preparation of full sets of accounts and partial sets of accounts for various companies across multiple industries, including reconciliation, cash flow, and closing.
• Handle tax structuring/planning, tax audit and dealing with tax authorities.

Requirements:

This is a role in the in-house client-dedicated Team in Keywords Singapore. The Lead LPM role will support the client’s Localisation team and will work closely with the client’s tools, processes and personnel.

In this role, the Lead LPM will need to master file delivery management to support the client’s localisation and LQA requests.

The Lead LPM will manage the hand off and delivery of multiple localisation projects of different sizes, simultaneously within the timeframe agreed with the client.

Duties and Responsibilites:

Client Relationship:

• Work closely with the client’s localisation team on project specifications.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with the client’s localisation team.

Communication:

• Manage all communication channels on assigned projects.
• Ensure communication is clear and concise on project requirements to other Keywords offices and the client’s language providers and development teams.

Project Management:

• Work with the client’s localisation tool to organise tasks and deliveries.
• Hand off files to the client’s language providers, including Keywords.
• Monitor status and track delivery of projects.
• Seek solutions for issues that arise during projects and escalate risks as necessary.
• Propose improvements to process where applicable.

Teamwork:

• Work as part of in-house client-dedicated teams in Keywords.
• Build good working relationships with all client-dedicated team members in Keywords.
• Build working relationships and daily cooperation with the Keywords LPMs and Keywords Leads for Localisation and LQA.
• Build good working relationships with other Keywords offices, language providers and developers, working on the client’s localisation.
• Support the other LPMs and assist the Keywords Team Leads in daily opersations.

Reporting:

• Conduct project presentations and compile daily, weekly and monthly and ad hoc reports as appropriate.
• Escalate any material issues that arise on a project to the LPMs and Team Manager and agree how to manage and communicate these with the client.

Role and Responsibilities

Communication:

· Build strong relationships with Project Managers and Business Intelligence Analysts to understand business requirements and use cases for data products.

· Identify issues, gather information from various sources, and translate essential business needs into technical specification that are used as reference for data product design.

Functional & Technical Expertise:

· Regular use of leveraging common data management tools, such as Informatica, SAP BODS, MS-SQL SSIS to design and develop the data models for use by Business Intelligence Analysts, Data Scientists and Analysts to speed up the development of data products.

· Integrate the data models on common BI tools, such as Tableau and/or OBIEE to assist the Business Intelligence Analysts to design and develop business reports and/or dashboards.

· Regular use in any of the various BI standard languages such as SQL, Python, C#, Java, VB etc

· Possess superior organization skills to be able to assist in end-to-end data product development with production development, conducting system integration/user acceptance testing etc.

Requirements / Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology/ System or equivalent.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in design, develop, deploy and maintenance of BI solutions

· Equipped with key SQL Skillsets on Oracle, Teradata and MS-SQL Server databases

· Knowledge and relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

o ETL tools such as Informatica (Primary Skill), SAP BODS

o Data visualization tools such as OBIEE, Tableau

o Has played a solutions architect role

o Data modelling experience

Responsibilities:

Program Management:

1. Manage Accelerated Digitalization (AD) demand pipeline in countryWork with sites and analyse operational data to identify AD opportunities
   Provide operations teams with assistance in the initial site assessment and technology matching based on AD toolkits and published materials.
   Actively work with functions such as Solutions Design on opportunity assessment and BCA development for complex robotics projects.
   
2. Support AD project deploymentsWork with country Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure that appropriate internal resources have been allocated to each AD implementation project where BCA has been approved.
   Escalate demand and supply side issues regionally as required.
   Lead vendor liaison on AD opportunities in country such as getting proposals, conducting site evaluations or trials.
   
3. Capability development at country levelInfluence and coach operations to improve opportunity identification, accelerate site assessment, resolve implementation issues etc.
   Develop country-wide digitalization capability by sharing regional and global collateral/training material/standardized templates.
   Provide regular updates to local SMT and operations on Regional AD policies and product development.
   Liaise with local vendors and recommend them for regional engagement if they are promising.
   
4. Program management and reportingResponsible for performance tracking, monitoring and governance of AD and non-AD deployment plans in country.
   Document lessons learnt and conduct post implementation reviews within country and region.
   Provide regular updates to Regional Team on AD Activities in country.
   Engage Regional SMEs if assistance is required, especially in the area of vendor liaison and BCA development.

• Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, especially operational and business improvement projects that are cross-functional.

• Industrial Engineering and familiarity with Warehouse Operations process flows highly desirable
