PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT/TRAINEE/INTERN

Responsibilities:

• Support and assist physiotherapists in the administering of therapy treatments to patients.
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally as well as improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Undertake and participate in training.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance of therapy areas and equipment.
• Support and assist therapists in ad-hoc duties.
• Assist in documenting patient care services.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Diploma in Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy/Sports Science/etc.
• Positive and client-centered therapy assistant with great communication skills.
• Fresh graduates welcomed.

Meteorological Assistant (Observing Stations)

[What the role is]

The selected candidate will perform timely and accurate collection, preparation, and dissemination of weather observations at meteorological stations, in fulfilment of international requirements stipulated by the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), to support weather analysis, surveillance, and forecasting activities.

[What you will be working on]

The job scope will include but not limited to the following:

• Monitoring the performance of various data processing and collection systems and equipment to ensure timely availability of data in support of weather monitoring and forecasting activities

• Collating and preparing operational aviation meteorological information

• Consolidating and analysing statistics in support of the departments’ decision making process

• Assist in coordinating with external vendors/agencies during equipment or system outage and perform first line trouble-shooting for prompt restoration of system.

• Performing archiving of data on specialised meteorological systems and where necessary, retrieve these data in support of special investigations and enquiries

[What we are looking for]

• NITEC or GCE ‘O’ level with pass in English/Maths/Science

• 1-2 years of working experience in shift work

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Words, Powerpoint, Excel)

• Organised and able to multi-task

The Services required are set out as follows:

(a) Photocopy, laminate, bind, shred documents

(b) Monitor and ensure ade uate supplies in Printina Room, such as

• Toner, staples, paper, laminating films, binding rings.

• Request forms and stationery for staff use;

(c) Maintain the Printing Room in a neat and clean condition;

(d) Attend to photocopier breakdowns in staff rooms - To check the cause of breakdowns before calling the serviceman;

To liaise with vendors on the maintenance schedule and repairing of photocopier machines; and

Any other administration duties as assigned by the school, eg sort/ distribute and file documents, attend to walk-ins/ calls etc.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise and follow up with suppliers/forwarders for on-time delivery

- Assist with sourcing and selecting suppliers at the best costs, qualities, and services

- Assist with negotiation and planning of delivery schedule in all purchasing matters

- Caculate food cost

- Purchase office supplies

- Data Entry, Filing and manager inventory level.

- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

- 5 days week (Mon to Fri / 9am to 6pm)
- Bilingual in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese speaking managers)
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
- Min/preferred years of working experience: 1 year
- Willing to learn and able to work in fast

- Outgoing personality, Strong in coordination pace environment
- Independent and able to multi-task
- Good Team Player

Job Description:

• Prepare and process orders, payment verifications, and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for timely deliveries.
• Maintain and update sales records and databases.
• Assist with the implementation of the new Inventory Management System (IMS).
• Provide administrative support to the sales team.
• Help with monthly sales closing activities.

Requirement:

• With one year working experience
• Min. Higher Nitec in any discipline
