Job Description

• Inspect machines to discover functionality issues.
• Perform repairs or replacement of wear parts.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, vehicles and equipment.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of department.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a technician in maintaining foods processing production line, machineries, utilities or other industries.
• Familiar with working on PLC control system, motor speed controller and position controller, temperature controller, AC & DC control systems, pneumatic system, steam line components, air compressor, boiler, electrical distribution system, general building repair work.
• Familiar and can work independently on preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works on equipment such as conveyor, gearbox, pneumatic and hydraulic system, 3 phase motor starter and drives, electro-mechanical system, basic electrical and electronic control, temperature controller, simple building & M&E repair works.
• NITEC cert in Mechanical/Mechantronic/Electrcial/Electronic Engineering or related, or similar trade qualification from Asean countries.
• 5.5 days week.
• Valid Class 3 Driving License
• Able to attend emergency breakdown after work hours.

About the role - you will:

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of the sputtering tool.
• Execute equipment trouble shooting and follow up on chronic machine issues.
• Lead team of technicians to maintain and improve OEE.
• Work with cross functional teams for continuous improvement and stability of the tool.

About you:

• Willing to work on 12 hours night shift pattern.
• Familiar with Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Leadership skill and able to work under minimum supervision.

Your experience includes:

• Relevant experience in equipment predictive and prevent maintenance.
• Working experience in PLC controls, vacuum technology, equipment maintenance is added advantage
• Effective hands on trouble shooting on equipment maintenance issues
• Ability to work effectively with other teams or continuous improvement

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, manage, supervise, co-ordinate, monitor and recommend to management a schedule for the planned preventive maintenance and ad hoc day to day maintenance and rectification of and facilities.
• Schedule coordinating of the maintenance team for maintenance and repair works accordingly maintenance schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities carried out by the contractors.
• Purchasing of maintenance parts when needed through purchase requisition or ad hoc purchase
• Responsible for following up on existing maintenance contracts with external vendors.
• Ensure site work is carried out that complied with workplace safety.
• Liaising and coordinating with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair.
• Assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Engineering and/or other relevant field of study
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the food industrial sector, (e.g. foodcourt and coffeeshop project and reinstatement works)
• Proven record in managing maintenance and repairs work for Air conditioning System / Fire Fighting & Fire Protection System / Exhaust System / Plumbing System / Kitchen Equipment
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Possess Class 3 Driving License
• Good interpersonal skills with the attributes of a team player and a keen eye for details
