Workplace safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

Job Description

The Clinic Assistant is responsible for the effective administration and operation of duties assigned at the Reception Counter.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities

Registered Nurse

Role & Responsibilities:

• Performing health care assistant duties and procedures such as taking appointments, registration, billing, and collection of payment for services rendered, arrange follow-up/referral appointments.
• Performing clinical parameters such as threadmill stress test, temperature, BP taking, height & weight taking, resting ECG, Urea breath tests, medication dispensing, liaising, and handling with laboratory for specimen collection or/and ordering of laboratory consumables when required.
• Explaining and introducing health screening packages to patients / corporate clients and tailoring appropriate screening programs to individuals and companies based on clinical indications, patients’ expectations, and cost.
• Collating and compiling results, arranging follow-up reviews and appointments for patients where appropriate.

  Administer COVID-19 vaccination and other vaccines as required by patients.

Essential Functions:

Purchasing

· Develops operating and capital budgets and ensures operation within allocated funds.

· Responsible for implementation of capital equipment, purchased services, supplies and materials necessary for operation.

· Implements and monitors a par level system to manage inventory of equipment and supplies.

· Conducts inventory reconciliations.

· Processes financial data and documents (e.g. bids, incoming purchase requisitions, mail, etc.) for the purpose of updating and distributing information and/or acquiring resources to support purchasing operation in compliance with established guidelines.
