What you'll do:
As an Application Governance Manager (Contract), you will play an integral role in governing and managing the comprehensive solutions provided by vendor and in-house applications for Global Markets business. You will be responsible for ensuring that controls are in place in applications by understanding the application setup and performing an integrity gap analysis. Your daily tasks will involve partnering with different lines of business, development teams, information security and infrastructure operations teams to deliver projects including business enablement, regulatory, risk and efficiency initiatives.
- Manage application governance activities involving assessment of application information security risks, audits, non-permitted technologies
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore regional teams to ensure deliverables are completed punctually
- Ensure first-line risk management and controls are in place to support the applications
- Communicate effectively with users for immediate/short/long term solutions
- Engage multiple stakeholders across the organisation to gather functional requirements, understand security risks for applications and provide cohesive solutions
- Perform integrity gap analysis to ensure compliance with bank information security standards and Enterprise Governance standards
What you bring:
The ideal Application Governance Manager (Contract) will bring a robust technical background along with familiarity with the Lifecycle of Software Development. The successful candidate will have proven experience working independently under stringent timelines in a challenging environment. The successful candidate’s excellent communication skills will enable to effectively liaise with the team, management, and business stakeholders. A sound understanding of Local Rules and Regulations in Asian markets will be crucial for this role. Above all, the candidate will be a collaborative team player, committed to the success of the team and the wider organisation.
- Robust understanding of wide range of technologies including network, security, application architecture, database and operating systems
- Familiarity with Lifecycle of Software Development
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks & work independently under stringent timelines & challenging environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team, management, and business stakeholders
- Sound understanding of Local Rules and Regulations in Asian markets
- Collaborative team player attitude
