You will report to the Design Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retail Design: Responsible for creative design on new concepts and retail formats to elevate consumer journey and brand experience. Oversee and manage projects from brief through design, construction stages and completion and opening for each project. Ensure timely delivery of design, project and opening schedule.
• Project Management: provide support on pilot doors, custom designs and events, and fit-for-use market solutions. Support planning, managing and tracking of project costs and ensure projects meet budget requirements.
• Collaborate: with internal functions including Visual Merchandising team to ensure creative and impactful store presentation. Manage external consultants & vendors/contractors to ensure quality and consistency in the construction of all counter & standalone boutiques across the region.
• Responsible for adapting from Global design guidelines in markets’ roll-out for renovation and new projects in a budget-conscious and timely manner.
• Lead on shop drawing review and validation, factory QC, site reviews and follow up on defect punchlist. Review technical drawing packages and support local markets in cost estimates and value engineering.
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, project savings, and innovative design solutions to enhance overall project delivery.
• Support markets on qualification of new vendors/contractors in support of business needs Train new and existing contractors, providing updates on new techniques, details and directions for store design.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field
• Minimum 8 years of design experience in architectural/interior or retail store design, with 5 years experience in branded retail or luxury retail environments.
• Strong communication a pre-requisite to manage multiple and diverse markets.
• Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate with different internal functional teams, as well as external teams that include consultants, vendors, contractors and millwork suppliers, to execute completion of projects.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of Retail Design, such as materials and finishes, lighting requirement, furniture design, detailing fixtures, and related fields.
• Extensive network & knowledge of shopfitters, retailers & procurement processes will be highly advantageous to the success of this role.
• Strong analytical skills with an understanding of the Asia retail consumer and market.
• Good proficiency in software programs including AutoCAD and Sketchup.

Strategic Program / Project Management

• Drive accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project management and appropriate use of metrics.
• Be responsible for partnering in the identification of challenges & opportunities for improvement in key performance indicators, leading teams in the innovation of solutions to achieve success
• Understand short-term and long-term goals within Global Facilities and the Network, and how they relate to company goals. Assist in driving program and project goals across the Network using common methods and metrics. Prioritize and align Program project portfolios with network goals, program metric targets, and across departments and sites
• Develops metrics for benchmarking project performance. Identify and share BKM’s for program and project success
• Drive continuous improvement of Global Facilities, Network, and Micron portfolio, program, and project methodologies and processes.

Tactical Project Leadership

• Facilitate the definition of project missions, objectives, key tasks, as well as time and financial resource requirements. Provide yourself as a “conduit” between the Global facilities and cross functional projects as required.
• Work with project members to establish aggressive but achievable goals
• Develop benchmarks and frameworks to monitor project progress, risks, and change; and take corrective or proactive steps when necessary
• Work with the site, PMO office, and the other Central function to define, develop and maintain systems that allow for program and project success
• Understand and communicate to appropriate Micron members the project status, risks, change requests and requirements for completion
• Act as an advocate for business process improvements; and engineer solutions for business problems related to the project while meeting objectives

Communication

• Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and appropriate managers in other functional areas. Communicate and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates ability to give effective presentations to both small and large groups on project updates and new initiative proposals.
• Periodically follows up with management team to ensure area goals are being met and get assistance in the removal of any obstacles that are preventing their completion. Uses all available resources to manage the successful completion of goals (including resources outside of the area).
• Ensure members have well documented update on area issues and projects update on a regular basis.
• Provide updates both internal to the group, as well as all Fabs. Updates should show progress against the timelines.
• Schedule meetings as required with your peer groups and update on areas performance, changes in Management decisions.
• Develop external relationships to achieve new ideas and procedures to keep pace with Industry standards and methods.

Training & Development

• As new business processes are developed ensure training is provided and work with the training group to assist in development of training materials as the need arises

Qualifications:

• The candidate should possess a BSc or Beng in Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
• Experience in Master planning & project planning is thus highly valued.
• Candidates with experience in facilities operation & construction.
• Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience.
• Good analytical skills with problem solving proficiency.
• Skills in Excel and simple code writing desired.

Responsibilities:

• Depending on the scope of supply, participate in project technical specifications on Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities, Studies, Operability, Commissioning in design and Commissioning Procedures.

• Possess working experience related to testing of LV/ MV Switchboards, power generators. Preferrable possess a LEW license Grade 7/8/9.
• Capable of testing and calibration of Generator Control Panel and assist 3rdparty supplier on Electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting and clear understanding of system specification.
• Familiar with the Generator sets project testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies. E.g., SS, ISO 3046, 8528 and etc..
