WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Pelago by Singapore Airlines is seeking a creative Campaign and Social Media Asst Manager/Manager to join our brand marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media campaigns to increase our online presence and grow our brand reach globally. You will work closely with the brand lead and design team to ensure that our campaigns align with the broader business objectives.

- The role will be highly suitable for an individual contributor who is able to independently execute all of our social media campaigns, and collaborate- with the Marketing, Sales, Design teams and Singapore Airlines business units to deliver campaigns

- Building Pelago’s brand presence on social globally

- Social media content planning and community management.

- Create engaging and relevant content for IG and TikTok, including videos (reels), statics (photos), memes, travel guides.

- Identify and build relationships with appropriate KOL partners to drive brand growth and UGC - strong knowledge and existing network with local and regional influencers would be beneficial

- Stay up to speed with global trends and culture, and ensure this is reflected in our brand’s storytelling on social media

- Drive organic reach and user engagement by building a community, responding to posts, developing discussions, social activations, giveaways, IG takeovers and etc

- Contribute to the ideation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and activation / buzzworthy social campaigns

- Ensure search-optimised travel content where relevant

WHAT EXPERTISE ARE MUST HAVES FOR THIS ROLE?

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Management, executing campaigns and creating content

- Excellent knowledge of Tiktok and Instagram

- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, photography / video editing skills.

- Ability to be in front of, and behind the camera, voice over where necessary

- KOL management

- Technical skills: Canva, Photoshop/ Illustrator, Capcut, Social media management tools, Meta/TikTok Business Suite and Ads Manager

WHAT EXPERTISE ARE GOOD TO HAVE?

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Knowledge of Youtube and other social media best practices

- Ability to manage and operate budgets in a fiscally responsible manner

- Ability to work with speed and agility: act quickly on trends and stay on top on global cultural events

- Solid understanding of social media KPIs and what makes the consumer tick

1. Day-to-day marketing administration.
2. Assist to manage and monitor third party agency/project teams, by proactively gather and provide input for regular reviews, to ensure deliverables are meeting set targets, timeline and budget.
3. Assist to manage and develop databases; to maximise its function to achieve business needs.
4. Stay up to date with the trend of technology in marketing, social media and other internal marketing channel and assets.
5. Business-to-business marketing; assist to develop, maintain and manage close relationships with managed partners, media, sponsors, exhibitors, buyers and key attendees.
6. Constantly upgrade his/her knowledge of core business, marketing technology, market intelligence, leadership and communication skills.

Marketing Strategy and Timeline

1. Develop and craft all activities of the marketing plan of the Event and achieve the objectives set for the activities.
2. Define advertising objectives, recommend choice of media and allocate resources to ensure advertising campaigns are effective, economical and appropriate for intended audience.
3. Plan, execute and own overall digital performance marketing strategy (including but not limited to website development, SEM, social media, SEO, eDM) and be responsible for all marketing KPIs performance.
4. Generate customer experience insights, strategy formulation, lead transformation management, roadmap and planning, analytics/insight generation – towards pre- and post-show.

Content Development and Maintenance

1. Create and execute marketing content, editorial and marketing plans for social media channels; including Above the Line (ATL) and Below the Line (BTL) promotion materials (website, eDM, advertisements, brochures, LinkedIn).
2. Manage the designate social media account for event promotion and ensure postings are done on a regular basis.
3. Ensure that information on such platforms is kept up to date.
4. Ensure event information are posted and kept up to date on other external promotional platforms.

1. Work with third party creative agency to develop the event key visual, logo and branding and the subsequent KV adaptations required by the event.

Media-related

1. Partnerships – Identify suitable media channels to secure partnerships with paid/barter entitlements for event promotion.
2. Media Management – Work with third-party PR agency to execute the media plan and manage media before, during and after the event.

• Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in event marketing.
• Solid understanding of both online and offline channels.
• Preferably with good understanding of public relations scope of work, including media management.
