Senior Project Engineer (Civil/Building) - $4.5K-$6.5K
Develop, maintain and manage working relationships with clients and all related parties.
Manage and implement overall project.
Coordinate with Project Manager on project matters
Supervise and provide advice to junior Project Engineer(s)
Check working drawing, identify discrepancies for resolution
Keeping track on variation and claims of contract
Perform project cost review on a regular basis and on identified areas.
Plan and manage project schedule to ensure timely delivery.
Perform incoming inspection on project materials delivered on site by suppliers or vendors.
Site coordination with subcontractors, supervisors and clients.
Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior(s).
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (Certificates must be recognized by PE Board).
Possess skills, knowledge and ability to supervise and manage project effectively
Independent, resulted-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills
Class 3 driving license will be added advantage.
Asst Project Manager/Project Manager ($5.5K-$7.5K)
Reporting to senior management, you will have overall responsibility for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction projects undertaken by the Group within schedule, cost and quality.
You will liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
Set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
You will effectively manage each phase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years relevant working experience in a managerial position.
Other pre-requisites are excellent team spirit, strong technical competence, good interpersonal skills and with a "can-do" attitude.
Planning Engineer (Civil/Interior/Building) Responsibilities
· Developing and preparing Tender Plans, Pre-construction programs / Labor Histograms .
· Develop Baseline Program including EPS, OBS, WBS, Phasing / Zoning Strategy Plan and Key Dates/ Milestones, of the project assuring that the Program is fulfilling all the contractual requirements.
· Detailed Planning & scheduling for various stages of the projects that involved works related to various disciplines such as Contracts, Engineering ,Procurement and Construction
· Assigning Recourses to the project, monitoring the resources allocation and taking actions if there are any conflicts or peaks.
· Developing Cost Breakdown Structure and produce the project cash flow, making sure that the project is always within the budget / Cost control.
· Proactively monitoring the overall Work progress & Contractors Performance.
· Review the progress status reports of all the contractors on board.
· Prepare and issue monthly reports of project progress.
· Update & Monitor the overall Baseline Schedule & Key Dates.
· Preparation and updating of S-Curves, Resources Histogram and monthly Cash Flow.
· Managing the program’s Resources Histograms, monitoring the progress against Planned Figures and realized benefits as the program progresses.
· Responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager, highlighting the areas of concerns, Issues or order to take corrective actions and implementing the preventive actions in order to avoid similar issues in the future.
· Review of major scope changes, ensuring that any impact on time is assessed.
· Responsible for assessing time extension requests and provide recommendations against the same.
· Travel to the site offices for visiting the projects / updating the progress when its needed
· Preparation of Time Impact Analysis
· Recognised qualification in Building Services Engineering or other appropriate engineering subject is preferred. Candidates without formal engineering qualifications may be considered if they have acquired sufficient experience (minimum 4 years in the role of a relevant construction management position) to demonstrate competence in the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
· Membership of professional body preferred
· Computer literate – Prima Vera/Microsoft Office
· 4 years of industry relevant experience
Project Coordinator
To manage projects by supervising and coordinating the site activities
Monitoring of work progress, attending project meetings, liaising with clients and consultants
Assist Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings, method statements submission
Ensures the timely preparation of project progress reports, inspection records, handover records, defects list etc.
Record all defects of works, ensure proper documentation for all variation orders and others
Ability to complete and hand over projects within tight timeline and quality expectation
To make pro-active response on site problems and resolved immediately with the Project team
To ensure all aspect of QA and QC matters
Observe proper construction safety measures and ensure safety compliance at site
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma Holder or other relevant qualifications
Min 3 years of relevant working experience in interior fit-out works or construction field is required
Able to work independently and under tight schedule
Good project coordination and management skill
Able to read architectural & technical drawings thus translates to construction activities
Good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
