About the Role

As our Manager Procurement, you will be working directly with the project team on the overall planning and implementation of procurement strategies with respect to the ongoing projects. Main purpose of the job

The Global Procurement Lead for Upstream Processes will provide leadership to the Global Procurement function in particular to the Source-To-Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Risk management and potentially other upstream service lines and related to Procurement, ensuring the successful execution of functional goals. [What we are looking for]

- Suitable credentials in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or an equivalent field.

- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design, machine automation, or related areas.

- Proficiency in utilizing software for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

- Expertise in designing mechanical systems, machine components, medical devices and automation solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 13485, etc).

- Knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.

- Familiarity or experience in additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing is considered a valuable advantage.

Technical Specifications:

• Good in providing solution by investigating and post-mortem analysis to resolve security violations.

• Good exposure to industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, with Audit experience in large enterprise/Service provider environment.

The Role

The Software Engineering team is a central part of Javelin that delivers and maintains the trading and risk management software systems. The role is like a Front Office Developer role at an investment bank or hedge fund. The team’s mandate also extends to the various logistical, financing and operational activities relating to our businesses.

The role will be based in Singapore, and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the globe and be involved in the development of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Back-end development of internal software applications in Python 3.
• Work closely with Quantitative Strategies, Trading, and other teams from across the globe to develop systems for new commodities products and deal structures.
• Provide in person support for the Singapore Trading, Sales and Logistics teams.
• Monitor the cloud-based market data and risk infrastructure during Singapore hours and improve upon it.

Specific experience we are looking for:
