Job Description:
Responsible for developing new business, increasing or protecting our share of existing business by well managing our sales channels (regional distributors) or well communicating with our customers directly.
➤ Managing distributors to achieve sales target
- Setting annual sales goal with distributors
- Leading and supporting the distributors’ daily activity to achieve the goal
- Periodically review distributors' progress (including monitoring monthly progress/sales result) and discuss action plan.
➤ Maintaining/improving the relationship with direct major customers by providing high value/service continuously in order to protect/increase businesses.
➤ In-depth research capability to develop new leads/prospects both in the existing and new geographic area is required.
➤Needs to show the capability to acquire enough knowledge to be able to execute the routine tasks as follows by themselves quickly, within 1 year after joining this organization.
- Carrying out routine internal duties, requests from customers/distributors/agents, tasks assigned by superiors.
- Accurately understand customers’ status and requirements (based on the information gathered from customers/distributors/agents.)
- Regular/periodical customer visits and developing relationships with key personnel
- Dealing with customer enquiries (via distributors/agents or direct from users)
- Drawing up internal documents and reports
- Others(Checking payment status of accounts receivable/holding regular sales meetings with distributors/agents.)
➤Non-Routine tasks-wise, following actions are required to do
- Building stronger/deeper relationships with key contacts than our competitors (based on “Give and take.”)
- Exploring and implementing new initiatives/projects as the result of building deeper relationships
- Responding to complaints (Prompt investigation with “Inquisitive mind” based on deep insight - do not simply take distributor/customer complaints without questions.)
Job Requirements:
Must
➤ At least 1-2 years of experience of distributor sales
➤ Good communication skill to maintain or to improve relationship with distributors/customers
➤ Business communication and negotiation skills are required in English.
➤ Person who have got good understanding for Japanese company and Japanese business cultures
➤ Initiative, independent, and also team player.
Plus
➤ Japanese communication capability to liaise with JP HQ and clients
➤ Possess Driver's license for visiting client sites (able to use a company car)
➤ Proven experience in presenting and implementing improvement proposals for Japanese companies.
