Experience / Skills:

Job Description:

• Responsible for monitoring servers, systems, and networks in an environment requiring 24 X 7 X 365 uptime.
• Manage all monitoring, alerts, and escalated calls, and handle help desk tickets to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new staff and junior engineers.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in response to system alerts and routine tasks with consistent accuracy. Tasks include Data Centre walkthroughs, checking current job statuses, updating tickets, escorting vendors for hardware replacement, etc.
• Demonstrate initiative and provide feedback on existing processes and procedures, and contribute ideas for ongoing improvements. Review documentation continuously using experience with the system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on system on-boarding/off-boarding. Assist in deploying, managing, and testing tools and systems for health monitoring.
• Be flexible in work schedules, potentially working odd shifts to cover colleagues' absences on occasion.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• ITIL Foundation V4 is preferred
• Detail-oriented and proficient in troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of preparing and delivering presentations/briefings to stakeholders.
• Experienced with monitoring tools and service desk systems. Certification in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) preferred.

• Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships.

• Responsible for the development of commissioning and start-up deliverables on the project.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Preferably possess a degree (or equivalent) in either Electricial & Electronics Engineering.
• 12+ years of Experience in Commissioning execution, particularly Gas Turbines projects.
• Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a Senior Level in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Thorough understanding of the EPCI Project with good knowledge of Engineering and Construction activities scheduling knowledge.
