Responsibilities:
Provide onsite client support, including troubleshooting, design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
Act as a technical subject matter expert for Cisco ACI network domain, offering leadership and mentorship to the team.
Analyze client and technical requirements, develop specifications, design solutions, and consult on testing and deployment processes.
Manage client’s day 2 network operations in the Cisco ACI network landscape and other assigned network technologies.
Mandatory requirement: Previous experience in Cisco ACI project implementation or configuration.
Comfortable with onsite support in Tuas/western side of Singapore and occasional outdoor support due to data center/network equipment location.
Key Requirements:
i) At least a CCIE or experienced Technical Lead/Subject Matter Expert proficient in:
Enterprise routing and switching
Data center network and architecture
Network security
ii) Proficiency in troubleshooting Layer 2 and 3 network issues.
iii) Hands-on installation and support experience in network devices covered in this contract.
iv) In-depth understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
v) Experience in:
Data Center Network (Routing, switching)
Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)/Software Defined Network (SDN)
Cisco ISE Servers
vi) Managing, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of:
Nexus Switches
Software Defined Network such as Cisco ACI, DNAC, and SD-WAN
vii) Proficiency in managing, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Firewall Systems in high availability mode. Firewall administrator certification such as either Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) is recommended.
viii) Experience in troubleshooting 4G and 5G Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) connectivity issues with telco service providers. Proficiency in engagement, analysis, and feedback on service reports furnished by service providers on their 4G and 5G cellular performance.
ix) Managing, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of load balancers.
x) Experience in disaster recovery activation and deactivation exercises.
xi) Proficiency in using sniffer tools to capture network traffic and analyze packets.
xii) Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network management software.
xiii) Proficiency in configuring and managing network monitoring and management platforms, e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNOW, etc.
xiv) Proficiency in creating Ansible Playbooks.
