About Blood Services at HSA
We secure the nation’s blood supply by ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for public and private hospitals.
We are looking for a highly driven individual to be part of HSA’s Blood Resources Division- Blood bank team, where you will play a key role in supporting the National Blood Programme (NBP). In this front-facing role, the individual will work closely in a dynamic team to maintain and uphold operational efficiencies, safety and quality standards of our blood collection centres’ at the highest levels.
This role will be responsible for motivating, leading, and managing a team of officers within our blood banks. Additionally, the individual will play a strategic liaison role working closely with the Division’s management team on crucial initiatives.

[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:-
- Leads a team of officers across blood collection centres to plan, support and manage operations.
- Strives to maintain Donor feedback above 90%. Monitors Donors Engagement and Retention rates through feedback management.
- Reviews and synthesizes centres’ performance data, closely monitoring operational productivity and efficiency of work processes. Identifies opportunity areas for improvement.
- Oversees Asset Management, Budget Planning & Centre-level Procurement of non-clinical items for the Division
- Closely supports Facilities Management and Workplace Safety requirements of collection centres.
- Supports Infrastructure, Human Resources, Security & Safety matters at Division level.

[What we are looking for]
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience managing of operations in Healthcare, Community Services, Public/Civil Services or Hospitality settings
- Familiar with the usage of data visualization and data analytics tools, e.g. tableau
- Productivity/Agile/Project Management certifications would be advantageous
- Experienced professionals exploring a mid-career switch are welcomed to apply
- The Centre Manager/Senior Centre Manager will be rostered for duty covering morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, across a 5-day work week supporting the blood collection centres operations hours.
- Team members are not required to perform night shift.
Our Blood banks operate 6 days a week*, between 9am – 8pm* (operating days/hours vary based on location).
