A TYPICAL DAY

My day starts at 8am, although like my colleagues, I often arrive earlier to get set up for the day. I am teaching 4 out of a possible 5, 60 minute lessons today across different year groups. The school really supports me in thinking outside the box to creatively develop new and exciting learning opportunities in different learning environments. As it is the start of the year, I am really working hard to learn all the names, make a connection with every learner and build learning-focused relationships. At lunchtime I have a duty in the cafeteria and talk to the learners about their day. The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. I am looking forward to the forthcoming Learning trip and will pop to the nearby shops on the way home to get some equipment ready for the trip.

Responsibilities:

Run infrastructure/system operations in School (NBS IT).

• Ensuring that all programme and department operations run seamlessly.

• Managing the implementation of infrastructure changes and maintenance routines as agreed upon.

• Contributing to the design and implementation of infrastructure replacement plans.

NTU’s Centre for IT Services manages the campus-wide IT Infrastructure and facilitate access to all Enterprise IT systems, as well as Learning systems and Digital Media.

Cyber Security which is part of Centre for IT Services is Responsible for the Cyber Security Governance, Risk, Compliance & Awareness, Architecture, Consultancy & Engineering, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Digital forensic investigation.

This role will be part of the Cyber Security Defense team. The role is expected to work with various teams throughout NTU to ensure feasible, compliant, and effective implementation in accordance to Cyber Security policies, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective cloud security strategy and architectures that adhere to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with infrastructure team to design and implement and maintain robust cloud security architectures, ensuring principles of least privilege, defense-in-depth and security by design.

• Design and implement security solutions to enable rapid detection and response to cybersecurity attacks.

• Operational support for Security Incident event management (SIEM) and other Enterprise security solutions. (eg Endpoint detection and response, Data Loss protection suite etc) for NTU and Autonomous institutes.

• Ensure standard operating procedures are reviewed up to date as well as operation metric reporting and performance requirements are met.

• Collaborate with internal teams, schools, or departments for onboarding of data sources for the SIEM.

• Review and continually enhance system performance and work with Computer Security Defense team in the development of new use cases to improve our Cyber threat detection capabilities.

• Conduct root cause analysis during system outage and troubleshoot within limited time constraints to ensure end user/ projects operations.

• Identify control gaps or weaknesses in current processes and recommend measures, tools or software application that will enhance the team capabilities and overall security posture of NTU.

• Responsible for capacity planning and disaster recovery testing for Enterprise security solutions.

• Participate in relevant audit activities.

• Responsible to the continuous improvement and support implementation of Enterprise security solutions.

• Participate in security projects or initiatives by the team.

• Lead and drive related Cyber defense initiatives to improve NTU cyber security posture.

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC relevant IT security certification 

• At least 8 years of IT related working experience with at least 2 years of prior experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).

• Candidates with prior experience in Security Engineering and Operations roles will have an advantage.

• Understanding and working experience in Cyber Security Incident detection and response practices and/or processes. e.g. NIST Incident Handling Guidelines, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK Framework etc.

• Experience with Cyber Security solution such as Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection & Response, Threat Intelligence solutions, Privileged Access management or other enterprise security solutions.

• Experience in implementing security audits, controls, and mitigating measures on enterprise security solutions.

• Suitable Candidate with lesser relevant and demonstrable experience maybe considered for more junior appointment grade.

• Monitor quality control activities to align with the production schedule, examining incoming, in-process, and outgoing products/shipments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Execute customized Quality Plans for individual customers and recommends solutions to address quality queries, customer complaints and audit requirements.
• Conduct tasks related to designing documentation guidelines and templates, while also delivering training on quality-related aspects.

• Main contact person for the third-party manufacturing and oversee the TPM operation/process.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Support to ensure that all quality goals are met, and all practices and procedures comply with company policies, GMP principles and applicable regulations for the quality areas.
• Maintains an effective liaison and cooperative relationship with other Quality areas and Plant departments.
• Manage TPM documents, quality agreement, FMEA, ASL and TPM scorecard/KPI.
• Review, evaluate and approve all major deviations and determine the need for a corrective action. Document the deviation in the Trackwise system and perform product impact analyses.
• Review, evaluate and approve all TPM change requests for process related, commodity, raw material, SCN, QC and facilities. Initiate global change in the Trackwise system.
• Provide a constant review on the manufacturing process, equipment and facilities to assure compliance with procedures, specifications, and policies.
• Write, review and approve annual product report/product quality report.
• Actively involved in Pre-campaign activities, Post-campaign review (Track & trending program)
• Perform timely lot disposition in the SAP and LRMS/LotSmart system to meet shipment timeline and demands.
• Prepare CoA, CoC and release package for drug substance.
• Coordination of regulatory requests, including country submission, dossier review, GMP Renewal Program.

About You:

● Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years' experiences in pharmaceutical or biotech facility preferably familiar with Quality Compliance, QA Third-party manufacturing oversight and/or QA Operations.

● Knowledge of quality management system, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in a pharma or biotech facility

● Relevant QA background from pharma or biotech environment is preferred

● Familiar with Health Authorities standards (e.g., FDA CFR and EU)

● Must be team player, meticulous, strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
