Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to oversee the design, development and construction.
• Interface with system designer, vendors, fabricators including drawings reviews, sourcing equipment, cost control and monitoring, schedule monitoring and update.
• Oversee project implementation according to the requirements and objectives. This includes schedule monitoring, vendors sourcing and recommendation, purchase/ cost evaluation, resources allocation, attend to inquiries, clarifying technical details, supervising project execution, implementing corrective actions, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, and finalizing as-built documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in deck machinery using technical manuals, hand tools, and power tools.
• Meticulously maintain records of all changes, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Develop operating, maintenance and safety procedures for the system.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Mechatronic or its equivalent discipline
• Preferably possess at least 5 years working experience within the Marine Industry or Shipyard Environment
• Good understanding of deck machinery such as winch, crane, lifting and handling equipment and the related IACS (particular ABS, DNV, BV) rules and regulations
• Added advantage with specific experience in WTW system (Offshore Passenger Transfer System)
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulic and electrical system and P&ID with ability to perform trouble shooting
• Understanding of structural design is an added advantage

The Lead Software Engineer/Assistant Manager will be part of the IT Service Management team in SIA's Information Technology Division, focusing on enhancing IT operations efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or related fields, with ITIL/Service Integration and Management (SIAM) certification. Additional certifications in ITSM CAS, CAD, or CIS are a bonus. Knowledge and certification in Business Continuity Management (BCM) preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Operations and IT Service Management, including process improvement. Proven proficiency in Agile methodologies for operations management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Platform or equivalent ITSM tool is mandatory. Familiarity with network and cloud technologies (e.g., Linux, Wintel, VMware, DevOps) preferred.

Job Description:

• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.

Responsibilities:

• Build cost models for new manufacture and repair projects or due to variation of work scope and incorporate key factors that will influence costs, margins or project delivery like delivery lead-time, resources availability etc.
• Breakdown the project into sub–elements for the purpose of estimating time and resources taken at each activity.
• Obtain prices from vendors for raw materials, parts / sub-components, sub-assemblies, services for the purposes of building job cost models.

• Handover secured orders to subsea project / IRM team and fill-out subsea project kick-off checklist, upon order confirmation.
• Upload customer documents / specifications into MasterControl, at order handover stage.
• Maintain a list of open quotations. Review quotations backlog on a weekly basis.
• Work with respective sales team to identify quotations that require follow-up, with the aim of converting them into potential orders. Obtain information on the reasons for losing bids, with the aim of identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare standard costing templates and quotation templates. Update terms and conditions, payment terms, as necessary. Maintain customer contact list, historical data on sales quotations.
• Submit customer’s terms and conditions in legal portal. Review sales orders. Upload purchase orders for contract review and submit weekly comments on subsea sales, when necessary.
• Verify Third party actual costs (eg. Freight costs, travel costs) are within budget at job closing stage. Where it exceeds the budget, quote for variation costs.

Requirements :

• Tertiary education in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sub-sea product/project costing in manufacturing environment within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Able to read engineering drawings (machining / fabrication drawings) and to understand assemblies.
• Familiarity with API 6A, API 16A, API 16F specifications / equipment preferred.
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
