Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (ID8350)
Location: Bukit Batok, Singapore
Working Hour：Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
Salary: $3000 - $3800

Job Description:
-Supports to Tender and Bidding Team such as Measurement of Quantities, preparing Bill of Quantities, Contract and Drawing Review, Interpretation of Specification, Request for Information and Clarification, Request for Quotation, built-up the tender base cost and final submission price, compilation of all mandatory submission document, prepare a tender cost proposal for Management’s review, and attending site briefing and kick-off meeting (if any).
-Handles and Supervises contract management of designated projects including project procurement of materials, main contract, and subcontract administration, analysis and evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
-Supporting in sourcing and comparing suitable three (3) quotations for the project materials request, liaising with suppliers and purchasing, monitoring project order schedule.
-Preparation and Submission of Monthly Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Settlement of Final Account and ensuring all Invoices are submitted in a timely manner.
-Assessment of Subcontractor’s Progress Claim, issuance of Payment Response and final payment.
-Handles issues including Extension of Time, Terms and Conditions, Prolongation Claim, Loss, and Expenses Claims.
-Perform other QS-related duties.

Requirement:
-Minimum 2-3 years of work experiences in quantity surveying.
-Proficiency in cost estimation software/tools, involves in sourcing and purchasing, billing etc.
-Strong analytical and numerical skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative and contractual support and maintain all required project information throughout each project for claim purposes.
• Ensure that the claim data are up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Prepare progressive claims and potential variation claims.
• Be able to do quantity measurement.
• Prepare RFQ package and source supplier and subcontractors.
• Review and compare quotations received, including clarifications correspondences.
• Highlight difference and commercial risks.
• Prepare agreements draft by using given template.
• Review subcontractor/supplier’s claim and prepare payment response.
• Maintain proper record of project costs.
• Ensure proper closing-out of subcontracts/supply agreement.
• Support in project account finalization.
• Other quantity surveying duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least a degree in Quantity Survey, Civil or Mechanical or equivalent or equivalent;
• At least 5 years of Singapore based contract management experience in Subcon/EPC project environment.
• Sound knowledge of preparing progress claims, contract close-out documents, monthly reports, interim and final payment applications.
• Good contractual and commercial mind set in working;
• Team player.
• An excellent diplomat and communicator in English, spoken or written.
• Familiar with public project contract administration.
• Experience in a O&G project.
• Able to manage work pressure
