(d) Maintaining the scientific instruments, and ensuring that supplies are accessible for teachers to use for lessons. Report to the HODs of Science and Mathematics for these:

• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of Science (& Maths) Departments’ resources.
• Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and resource materials.
• Check deliveries & reorder essential items as necessary.
• Carry out and arrange for the maintenance and repair of apparatus and equipment. Upkeep required records and logs of all maintenance and servicing of equipment.

(e) Perform simple administrative and office work such as maintaining records and inventory stock lists, preparing labels and posters for science labs and liasing with vendors for quotations for items ordered.

(f) Operate and maintain basic office equipment and material.

(g) Any other jobs assigned by the school such as covering reception duties, packing of resources, or supporting the adhoc tasks needed for special school events and etc.

Qualification, Skill & Experience:

- Must possess GCE ‘O’ or its equivalent

- Preferably First-aid trained

- Good communication and inter-personal skills

- Meticulous with good planning and organising abilities.

- Proficient in MS Office

- Candidates with the relevant experience working in school’s science laboratories and managing maths manipulatives will be preferred

• Assist non-ambulant and semi-ambulant residents with their toilet needs and mobility.
• Bathe frail residents and those who need assistance in showering.
• Shave and cut hair for residents regularly, and ensure their fingernails and toenails are trimmed once a week.
• Supervise and assist residents in handwashing before each meal.
• Refer residents, medical problems to the Duty PCO and nursing staff and accompany them to hospitals and polyclinics for their medical appointments.
• Accompany residents for outings and brisk walk.
• Serve food and drinks to residents at mealtimes and to wash their utensils after meals.
• Clean and disinfect the residents' dormitories and general areas daily.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Home Management team and Duty Officers.
