This is a full-time, onsite, Receptionist cum Administrative Assistant Role in MOE School (Primary). If you are selected,

You will work closely with the Administration Manager / Principal/ School Leaders in an MOE school (nearest MRT: Bedok (EWL) and Bayshore MRT (TEL)) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

a) Receive, direct and relay telephone messages from staff, parents and general public

b) Assist and/or direct pupils, visitors and general public

c) Provide general administrative support, including managing in-coming and out-going mails, scanning of document and photocopying;

d) Manage and maintain the inventory of office supplies such as school stationeries and toiletries.

e) Assist to prepare refreshments for guests, and

f) Any other administrative duties as assigned by the Admin Manager and School Leaders.

Job Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Level
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented and familiar with proper phone etiquettes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in administration

Summary:

Contract Period: From 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025

Working Days and Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Fridays: 7:00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1hrlunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Job Duties

• Follow all laboratory protocols and policies in checking specimens (e.g. blood, stool, urine, etc) received & make sure that names tally with the request forms for testing.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of lab work area, furnishings & equipment.
• Follow test requirements of reference laboratory & procure appropriate specimen for testing.
• Perform bar coding samples & processes laboratory specimens received from patients under prescribed laboratory guidelines.
• Utilize lab information system (LIS) to register patients, retrieve results & print reports. • Maintains adequate level of supplies in the work area.
• Receives requested stock items & distributes them to the appropriate place within the laboratory
• Aliquoting of urine samples

• Minimally GCE "O" Level and above
• Able to start work on short notice
