Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for a full-time Executive/ Senior Executive, Clinical Research Officer (Biobanking) for the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study. This study is undertaken jointly by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London (www.healthforlife.sg). • Receive and process biological samples for banking purposes; with accuracy and in a timely manner without compromising sample quality.

• Assist in frozen sample retrieval and sorting.

• Perform nucleic acid (DNA and RNA) extraction and quantification.

• Perform daily routine measurements on analytical systems.

• Monitor quality standards by verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance, running daily quality controls and calibrations.

Assistant Professor (tenure track) Positions in Ecology

The Asian School of the Environment (ASE, https://www.ntu.edu.sg/ase) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore seeks to appoint several Assistant Professors (tenure track) in tropical ecology. We broadly welcome applications across all areas of tropical ecology. This can include, but is not limited to, forest ecology, marine ecology, biodiversity research, conservation ecology, soil ecology, or plant or animal ecology.

Successful candidates should demonstrate the potential to build a world-class research programme and a commitment to education and mentorship of students, and to meaningfully contribute to our ambitions to have societal and environmental impact in Singapore and the surrounding region. They will teach within ASE at both undergraduate and at postgraduate levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who would be interested in teaching introductory-level ecology courses, including statistics.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily trading PNL for assigned desk and close the trading P/L on a timely basis. This includes preparation of journal entries for accounting team to book.
