Job Purpose

Candidate will lead a team to deliver projects and carry out operational support of systems in the University Campus Infrastructure domain. He/she will work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives.

What will your day look like?

The role involves:

• Support and guide clients in adhering to the intricate web of national and regional regulations and industry standards, including PDPA, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Lead and manage data protection and cybersecurity consulting engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services tailored to client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive data mapping, records of processing, privacy impact assessments, as well as security assessments, maturity assessments, and risk assessments to evaluate the client's entire personal data and cybersecurity landscape.
• Design and implement effective data protection and cybersecurity programs, integrating privacy and cybersecurity controls to support clients' business operations and mitigate security risks.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data privacy and cybersecurity consulting, with a strong focus on risk management, compliance, incident response, and security architecture.

Senior Research Director

Our aim is to harness the power of cutting-edge marketing, communications, and creativity, so that they become key tenets of social and behaviour change activity. Clients include a range of governments, INGO’s, foundations and multilaterals.

We are focused on tackling some of humanity's most challenging and important problems, in fragile states and developing countries, through the creation of multimedia messaging campaigns.

A specialist research team exists within the company to provide formative research support and to evaluate the progress of the campaigns. We are looking for an experienced mixed-methods researcher to lead this research team.

The Senior Research Director will be confident leading the Research & Insights Department, managing & overseeing a team across two offices. This will involve overseeing the design of assessment frameworks to ensure both the effectiveness of the messaging is assessed, as well as the assessment of the strategy/Theory of Change itself. The Senior Research Director will also oversee report writing for internal audiences as well as clients. The position requires relationship management with research partners who perform the primary research on behalf of the organisation. The position will also require representing the research team internally, with especial regard to working with the accounts, strategy and production teams. The position will additionally entail other research tasks, including but not limited to open-source research; desk reviews; lessons learned/best practice write ups; etc.

Job purpose

· Working as part of a core team that supports M&C Saatchi World Services’ communications campaigns, providing research, analysis and insights to support program management teams.

· Leading the measurement and assessment of ongoing communications campaigns, applying quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Main Accountabilities

· Implementing evaluation strategies, including designing assessment strategies and reviewing draft formative and evaluative research instruments produced by Analysts working on the project.

· Owning project research reporting including assessment reports and formative research reports. This includes reviewing reports delivered by Managers & Analysts working on the project to ensure we are providing meaningful and actionable insights.

· Presenting research findings to internal and external audiences in a clear, articulate and timely manner.

· Managing relationships with research fieldwork partners and overseeing all project management when outsourced.

· Assisting with optimising the project’s strategy and delivery.

· Feeding into strategy/Theory of Change development.

· Regional research craft leadership and line management of Managers & Analysts within the team, contributing to both formal and informal training and mentorship of members of the team.

· Development and productisation of research capabilities for existing and potential clients. This includes selling capabilities to prospective clients and development of bespoke methods and tools for commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly involved in advisory support to the team in daily AML tasks such as onboarding assessment, account reviews, client update / change in circumstances, name screening and transaction monitoring, review and approval of matters escalated to Compliance such as payments.
• Ongoing management of the Second Line of Defence AML compliance program in accordance with Group directives, policies and applicable local regulatory requirements; conduct AML key controls as part of the compliance monitoring program.
• Conduct Quality Assurance checks on sampled Onboarding and Periodic Reviews.
• Conduct investigation of suspicious transactions and filing of suspicious transaction reports where required.
• Perform gap analysis on new/change in AML regulations to ensure that AML compliance is aligned with regulatory standards; identify areas for improvements and involve stakeholders for resolution.
• Maintain and update AML-related procedures and working instructions.
• Conduct periodic awareness briefing and staff trainings on regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures pertaining to AML. Promote and manage compliance risk culture and local practice of regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
• Periodic and ad-hoc regulatory reporting or AML survey.
• Support Team in providing AML / compliance advisory support to colleagues, senior management and key stakeholders in AML and Financial Crime matters.
• Support Team in initiatives and projects, audits, reviews and investigations relating to AML and Financial Crime Compliance, and any other duties assigned by Team Head.
• Build relationships and credibility with stakeholders.
• Support Team Head in providing supervisory and guidance to the junior AML officers.

Experience and qualifications:

• Degree holder with minimum 8 years of work experience, preferably in Private banking with experience in either AML compliance/KYC/Onboarding/KYC Quality Assurance.
