The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager for the APAC region is a newly created role to help us define, execute, measure and refine a compelling top of the funnel revenue strategy for Visa Cross-Border Solutions, inclusive of Currencycloud brand. You will lead a team of 3 Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) responsible for filling the pipeline with qualified leads that turn into revenue. • Working with regional marketing managers and sales consultants to support the creation of a demand gen strategy that meets regional targets
• Researching prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and more account based marketing
• Building prospect target lists using business development tools
• Build strategies using clear and defined KPIs and ROI. Specific campaigns that are built and delivered as part of the strategy should have trackable metrics and align with your overall strategic objectives

Leadership (approx. 45% of role)

What a Pre-Sales Senior Manager does at Visa:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Pre-sales (VGS) in the Asia Pacific region that is a self-starter, hands-on, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role is client-facing and focuses on the pre-sales, solution design and technical development phases of an opportunity by supporting our regional frontline sales functions. Leading on Sales and GTM for this new venture, you'll act as an integral part of the interim founding team on product-market-fit activities and getting the commercial wheels spinning. From securing first pilot customers and building out lead-gen, through to ensuring an incredible experience for the early stage adopters and establishing strong foundations for rapid scale.

Your impact will come from your deep maritime industry / domain insights with an entrepreneurial spike. You’ll be paired with Rainmaking APAC team member(s) with deep experience in shaping business models, investor relations and fundraising.

You will be embedded in this maritime project for ~6 months. At the end of this project, you may find that this venture is “the one” you’d be excited about being a long-term leadership team member of.

• Shipping Sector Expertise: you have experienced the highs and lows of scaling a business in the maritime / shipping technology arena. You bring significant insights across maritime products, services and market dynamics, ideally from within the SaaS space
• Commercial Depth: you bring proven experience in sales, customer success and/or senior account management in the maritime / shipping industry. Ideally you've sold SaaS products into owners and technical managers before and understand these sales cycles

The Sales Operations Manager will be a collaborative and detail-oriented team player within a variety of functional areas, including Sales, Product, Finance, Merchant Acquiring to name a few. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of sales support experience in a high-tech, software development, or SaaS delivery environment.

• Additional responsibilities include: providing Sales and Client support to the APAC Sales organization on various matters ranging from order acceptance, quoting, best practices, pricing approvals, or liaising with other departments for responses and resolution.

Your tasks

• Acquire and assess sales opportunities, including identification and proper coverage of buying centre members and stakeholders at Finacial Institutions in Asean Region 
• Reach sales targets by initiating and managing sales opportunities till the conclusion of contracts with new clients.
• Implement a successful sales strategy for designated sales projects and define business cases for customers.
• Coordinate and organize meetings with customers as well as internal resources; prepare and hold presentations and workshops after having defined the rights USPs and sales message.
• Speer the Sales opportunity in Coordination with various stakeholders (e.g. implementation, service, and software partners) 
• Acquiring new customer for Avaloq by understanding customers’ needs, analyzing competitive solutions, defining sales messages and USPs.
