About the Role:
As UNIQ’s Trademark Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the brand’s trademark registration process, including filing applications, conducting trademark searches, assisting in enforcement efforts, and monitoring portfolios for compliance. You should have strong organizational skills, the required legal knowledge, and attention to detail, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate trademark searches and assessments with third-party legal vendors
• Assist in preparing and filing trademark applications globally
• Maintain the company's trademark portfolio and track deadlines
• Act as the primary liaison with legal vendors to manage trademark documentation and correspondence
• Monitor trademark applications and assist with enforcement efforts
• Assist in due diligence reviews for corporate transactions
• Stay informed about global trademark law developments and collaborate with internal teams to align trademark strategies with business goals
Requirements:
• Diploma or higher qualification in Law, Business, or a related field
• Basic understanding of trademark laws and procedures; with prior experience in trademark coordination preferred
• Familiarity with the industrial/product design industry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently, and within a team
• Fluency in English; and proficiency in other languages for communication with third-party partners will be advantageous
