The Sales Associate’s goal is to provide excellent customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through maximizing sales.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
PCC Retail Shop
· Greet customers and make them feel welcomed.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable shop front.
· Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions.
· Make recommendations to customers based on customers’ needs.
· Assist shoppers with merchandise (proper sizing, color choices, collecting items from back inventory if needed, etc.
· Restock items that are running low and maintain proper display appearances.
· Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays.
· Keep a watchful eye for theft or mishandling of merchandise, act according to company policy.
· Ensure customers are well-informed of any promotions, rewards programs, and store return policy.
· Process payment by using cash register, credit card machines, and/or POS (point of sale).
· Follow all company’s policies and procedures.
· Answering phone calls and attend to enquiries from walk-in customers.
· Assist in the display of merchandise.
Thomson Confinement Food Sales and Support
· Answering phone calls and attend to enquiries from walk-in customers.
· Actively promoting and selling Confinement Food (walk in customer, Hospital Tour Visitor).
· Support the team in sales, activation, feedback where required.
Others
· To assist in departmental administration matters (where required).
· To support any other initiatives or tasks (where required).
REQUIREMENTS
· Min GCE 'O' level.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in retail and service sales.
· Sales and customers oriented.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Working hours: 4.00pm-8.00pm (Mon to Fri) and 2.00pm-6.00pm (Sat).
· Preferably able to commit at least 3 days per week, and from January to June 2025.
