Overall job objectives

Core responsibilities

• Consumer testing standard & regulation / requirement for Softline, Hardline, Chemical.
• Handling sample submission from Malaysia & Thailand branch, basic view sample with confirmation, take sample photo as a record and distribute to designated Department for Testing.
• Follow up on unclear Test Request Form and Sample TAT date.
• Co-work with CS team follow up subcontract sample status from outsource laboratory, and keep track the status to ensure result delivery on time
• Prepare and consolidate of final report and issuing on time
• Support sample breakdown in Chemical department, if necessary
• Document management of test report, arrange test report from MY and SG side. Archive test report in running number for easy access during SAC audit.
• Support SAC accreditation in Mechanical, E&E and Softline testing

Responsibilities

• Work with the Service Department on Customers' enquiries.
• Carryout site (existing building) surveys and co-ordinate with Engineering team for the next steps
• Customer’s required lift features onto the existing lift/escalator system.
• Liaise with the Purchasing team to source the right products/parts.
• Support Sales Support Executive to propose the new features to the Customers.

Requirements

• Recognized Engineering Degree/Diploma or many years of lift repair experience
• At least 2 years in lift/escalator design and site working experience.

• To assist the Workshop Supervisor in the daily running operation of the workshop.
• To managing data inputs from multiple sources.
• To perform troubleshooting of vehicles with high degree of competency.
• Ensure all work carried out comply with safety and quality requirements.

• To generate a consistent set of monthly reports for the product management team.
