Marine Manager, DPA and CSO
As the Marine Manager, DPA, and CSO, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the Group’s adherence to quality assurance standards in maritime operations. This includes managing TMSA and Dry BMS data, monitoring compliance with the Integrated Management System, and implementing suitable controls for navigation, HSSE, and quality assurance.
You will lead a team of Marine Superintendents and Standards Personnel, oversee vessel operations, liaise with stakeholders, and drive the Quality Assurance program for tankers and bunker vessels. Additionally, you will prepare statistical analyses, presentations, and long-term solutions related to vessel performance.
Your responsibilities will also include planning and executing the SIRE/CDI program, preparing vessels for third-party inspections, and overseeing the development and implementation of compliance procedures. You will play a crucial role in improving safety and performance by raising awareness and conducting internal audits.
Requirements:
- Master Mariner Qualification
- At least 5 years of sea-going experience in a senior role on tankers
- Minimum of 5 years of shore-based experience in the mentioned tasks
- Strong understanding of SIRE 2.0, TMSA, Dry BMS, and RISQ implementation requirements
- Proven ability to present, implement, and gain acceptance of nautical, quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection initiatives
- Strong motivation to engage effectively with clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to inspire and persuade, with confident interpersonal skills suitable for interactions with colleagues and clients at all levels
