Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years hands on experience in precision metal stamping process/multi-slide forming
• Competent in tool design and conversant with CAD and geometric tolerance
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Team-player, self driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadline

Experience with injection molding, double disc grinding, and machining is an added advantage

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the design, execution, and commissioning of advanced Turbo Machinery System solutions, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest standards in terms of quality, cost, and time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guide junior engineers, and manage customer relationships effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the review of project scope, budget, and technical specifications.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, project execution plans, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Monitor and control project cost, quality, scope, and schedule to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate and lead design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions.
• Oversee the development and programming of PLC-based systems using customer design documents and proprietary libraries.
• Prepare and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and oversee customer-witnessed FATs.
• Perform commissioning of complex systems and assist end users in troubleshooting processes.
• Identify, address, and escalate any project-related risks or issues to management.
• Support the preparation of sales proposals by reviewing customer specifications.
• Collaborate with regional teams and travel across the Asia Pacific region to support project activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing PLC-based control systems, especially in the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Petrochemical industries.
• Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Visio, and PLC-based IEC1131 languages.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team.

1. To provide engineering support in term of engineering activities such as Line Setup, Process Standardization, Productivity Improvement, Machine/Equipment & Tool Set Up, & etc.
2. Prototype handling for ABC production.

NATURE & SCOPE:

1) Line/Processs Setup and Standization

a. Preparation of new line setup and layout.

b. Preparation of facilities, machinery, equipment and tools for new setup.

c. Preparation of QC flowchart, Worksheet/Checksheet for Production Quality Assurance Control

d. Establish and maintain FMEA study on the production line

e. Preparation of Prototype/pre-producton.

f. Ensure First Article & Shipping Judgement is carried out for product realization before shipment.

2) Establish Work standard, QC Flow Chart, Worksheet & Checksheet.

a. Preparation of necessary Work standard required for the Avionics Business in relation to AS9100 system requirements.

b. Maintenance of documentation system.

3) Productivity Improvement

a. Carry out process time study and line/process balancing.

b. Provide technical supports on improvements to reduce process time

c. Design and fabricate simpl jig & fixture.

4) Production Support

a.Provide engineering technical support in terms of

- Process changes, Software revision, provide machine/equipment & tools, Carry out First Article Inspection .

5) Cost Down Activities

a. Plan and propose for localization activities

b. Plan and propose for process improvement

6) Prototype Handling for ABC Production

a. Liaising with OKI on Prototype setup and master schedule

b. KOM within YAS related members

c. Ensure all parts are ready for the prototype making

d. Prepare and submit costing for prototype project
