Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Min 3 years or Nursing experience
• Possess a valid SNB, BCLS & AED license
• Proficient in Phlebotomy/Drawing of blood
• Keen interest in the research field
• Good interpersonal skills and passionate in nursing

• Perform duties as scrub nurse.
• Check and prepare sterile trolley for surgical cases
• Check instrument, carry out instrument and swab count according to standard protocol
• Check and identify the correct patient for the correct surgery, site of operation, taking special note of the consent, allergies etc
• Ensure accurate labelling and specimens are properly dispatched
• Ensure total cleanliness of the operating theatres and preparation rooms
• Assist in cleaning, packing and sterilization of instrument and surgical supplies according to Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) standards
• Ensure patient education is properly done prior surgeries
• Implement the hygiene, sterilization, asepsis and disinfection protocols and procedures at all times, before, during and after operations, to ensure the safety conditions of patients and staffs
• Ensure patient’s safety at all times
• Ensure consumables and equipment according to surgeon’s preference are available prior surgery
• Position operating table and equipment in the correct position prior the surgery
• Initiates infection prevention activities
• Communicates, documents and evaluates patient's plan of care

Requirement

• A qualified Senior Staff Nurse who are Singapore Nursing Board Licensed and have experience as a Surgical Scrub Nurses and able to assists in PRAS (plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic surgery) Surgeries
• Degree in Nursing
• Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm (Mon - Fri) and 9 am - 1 pm (Sat)
