Our client is a tier 1 global energy trading firm that has been expanding their footprint rapidly over the last 3 years. As part of their continuous expansion plan and their constant investment in enhancing technology and digitalization, they are looking to add a new headcount into the Technology Innovation Team.

They are seeking someone with great SAP Analytics Cloud and dashboard technology experience to join the team.

As a Specialist in Interactive Dashboards, you will utilize your proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud and your comprehension of energy trading operations to create, implement, and oversee interactive dashboard reports and visualization tools. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to grasp their data requirements, devising user-friendly solutions to meet these needs, and crafting visually captivating and insightful content to facilitate effective decision-making and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify and comprehend business needs for data analysis and reporting within energy trading.
• Develop, refine, and upgrade interactive dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud and other relevant technologies.
• Analyze extensive datasets to pinpoint trends, patterns, and irregularities affecting energy trading operations.
• Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data for analysis.
• Assist in various SAP enhancement endeavors.

• Sound understanding of energy trading operations, including familiarity with key performance metrics and market dynamics.
• Competence in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.

Job Overview

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate the outcomes of pre-S&OP and affiliate S&OP meetings into a production/replenishment plan aligned with the business units
• Ensure the continuous supply of materials to meet customer demand and replenish inventory at various locations while achieving inventory and service key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Optimize the production plan by coordinating with plant operations and manage distribution to regions worldwide in accordance with company strategy.
• Monitor inventory levels and take appropriate actions to maintain optimal inventory levels in alignment with KPIs.
• Plan feeder vessel schedules based on the production plan and oversee stock transfers within regions, considering service, cost, and inventory levels at the plant.
• Submit monthly outlook production plans to maintain preparedness regarding raw materials and production sequences.
• Focus on improving supply chain service levels and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• Minimum of 4-5 years of related working experience
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry will be a huge plus
