Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director, Global Security – Supply Chain Integrity, the Associate Director, Supply Chain Security is responsible for leading the China/Japan/Asia-PacificRegion implementation and execution of strategic and tactical operations intended to ensure the end-to-end efficient and secure movement of COMPANY products and materials, provide effective supply chain security risk management, and promote engagement and awareness of associated security matters.

The focus of this work is on protecting patient safety through securing the supply chain against illicit actions, product diversion, theft, terrorism, and unauthorized activities that threaten product integrity including compromises of confidential and proprietary supply chain information.

The position will be the primary regional liaison for internal and external interactions associated with supply chain security matters. The successful candidate must have a proven capability to excel in a collaborative, diverse, complex, resource-constrained environment and be able to drive decision-making processes that involve multiple constituencies and constraints.

Primary Responsibilities

Leading the Regional execution of COMPANY’s global Supply Chain Security Strategy, including tactical operations designed to protect COMPANY’s supply chain from threats and acts of theft, product diversion, tampering, terrorism, illicit activities, and unauthorized access via effective security measures, analysis, expert consultation, and investigations leading to meaningful root cause determinations, corrective actions, compliance, and law enforcement outcomes. Following are the areas of focus:

Security Risk Management

· Implement and manage regional execution of a proactive Supply Chain Security strategy focused on incident prevention through intelligence-based risk mitigation

· Manage regional execution of a security risk assessment regime to proactively and periodically monitor and measure internal operations and external business partner security performance against established criteria

· Manage regional execution of initiatives to identify and enhance protection of supply chain operations and products categorized as “high value”

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years’ professional security experience preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
• General understanding of pharmaceutical operations and related supply chains including regulatory security requirements and security plans
• Understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, warehousing, distribution, all modes of transportation, and freight forwarding

POSITION SUMMARY/MISSION

The Director, Global Supply Chain Sustainability is responsible for providing leadership and management of Samsonite’s supply chain sustainability program in support of Our Responsible Journey, the company’s global sustainability strategy. As part of the Global Materials Supply (GMS) Team, The Director of Materials will lead the GMS organization that services VANS, Dickies, TBL, Napapijri & SWIB – responsible for raw materials sourced through the Asia Sourcing Offices (ASO). With a team of 4 Direct Report and 11 associates and more than $400M of raw material spend under management annually, the individual is responsible for creating the Material Sourcing Strategy and managing an efficient material supply model that meets or exceeds KPI’s including quality, cost and On-Time-Performance of all raw material spec’d in VANS, Dickies, TBL, Napapijri & SWIB apparel products. GMS Director is expected to act as a business enabler and accelerator, creating scaled capabilities to deliver global efficiencies. The SEA & India Head reports to the Head of Supply Chain International, and manages Pharma and Vaccines Global Business Units, and leads cross Supply Chain activities for the region to ensure deliveries of products and services to support the business performance and to ensure the best possible forecasting and supply.

Main responsibilities:

• Define and drive the Supply Chain strategy to support top and bottom-line growth ambition of Commercial Operations of the markets in scope
• Represent the affiliate as the key Supply Chain stakeholder, both internally and externally to the company, acting as the primary contact for that country in the regional and global Supply Chain organization
• Lead the Supply Chain department transformation: Continuously review and recommend changes in the Supply Chain procedures and working practices; Contribute to the company’s cost optimization through project generation and implementation; Build a truly customer-centric organization
• Optimize cross-functional support needs in the local organization, ensuring effective communication between direct reports and with other teams serviced or impacted by the Supply Chain function, in particular Quality Operations, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Finance

• To manage a demand plan for importation that will ensure on-time availability of products and to lower potential impact of Out Of Stock

• Lead the trans-functional S&OP and IBP process, bringing anticipation/long term visibility & one single set of data
