Job Scope:

· Review and analyse historical sales data trends, understand demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results.

Dow Integrated Supply Chain Development Program (ISCDP) is a program designed to broaden your business acumen, cross-functional expertise and critical professional skills in Integrated Supply Chain. We are on the journey to the End-to-End (E2E) supply chain transformation to ensure our sustainable growth and strong competitiveness in Asia Pacific. As a new employee to Dow, ISCDP presents a well-designed development platform to set the foundation for a successful career with the company.

Program Structure

A Dow leader will organize you in two job assignments within Integrated Supply Chain, mainly in Dow Logistics, and Business Supply Chain Projects if appropriate. You will spend approximately twelve-eighteen months in each job assignment, learning best practices and processes that will help you develop critical functional and leadership competencies and skill sets. One or more senior Dow leaders will serve as mentors to guide you along the way.

We transition to E2E supply chain by breaking down silos and re-engineering the way we work. ISCDPer's work will include but not be limited to creating value, improving operational efficiency, reducing operational costs and providing superior service to improve customer experience. Demand Planning-to-Fulfillment (DP2F) is an integral part of the New Dow which requires us work across functions and disciplines with a customer-centric mindset in order meet or exceed customer expectations.

On top of your job assignments, you will be given special projects or initiatives, to complement your in-depth functional development in DP2F operation model and provide you invaluable learning and networking opportunities with senior leaders in Dow Integrated Supply Chain and other functions/businesses.

Scope

• Responsible for sourcing required direct and indirect materials, dealing with vendors and negotiating for the best price and payment term from both local and overseas vendors.
• Collaborate and maintain good working relationship with both internal/external stakeholders and vendors for planning and initiation of necessary procurements.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors for timely delivery and monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges and defects of materials.
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with internal/external stakeholders, vendors and identify process bottleneck, propose and implement solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Assist to implement internal procurement strategies to cater for daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
• Prepare, develop and review department contracts for both new and existing supplier, and constantly monitoring the validity & expiry of each contract.
• Prepare and develop various documentations (e.g. Tender, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s, Work Instruction (WI), Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in an O&M industry involving Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistic or Warehousing
• Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) will be an advantage.
• Able to work well independently and in a team under a challenging and fast-paced environment.
