About the job

This role will be responsible for managing customer Project to ensure contract fulfillment, including technical, time plan, cost control, resource/supply chain management, site supervision, commissioning and start up.

Job Description

• Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing the project.

• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan, and control the cost to avoid deviation.

• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

• Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project.

• Liaise with other operational areas in the organization (for example engineering, technical) to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.

• Select and manage the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. 

• Project supervise on site and participation on commissioning and start up together with internal or external service engineer.

• Trouble shooting management during warranty period.

What you know

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer, Integrations who will be based in our Singapore office with the following key responsibilities:

• Understand and collaborate to develop key customer requirements and conceptualize, prototype and integrate code-driven product solutions to address those requirements
• Drive the end-to-end solutioning and delivery flow to ensure that all requirements are met and customer success is achieved
• Work cross-functionally across product, design and engineering to design, implement and rollout integration features to our existing SaaS product
• Contribute quality code across the full-stack in developing and rolling-out new features
• Authoring functional and integration tests to ensure features meet customer requirements

What we’d like you to have

• 5 years or more of experience in full-stack development
• Experience designing and integrating APIs or microservices in an enterprise setting
• Experience documenting enterprise services in a customer facing environment
• Experience working with security compliance standards and associated documentation
• Experience working with customers to deliver a product outcome
• Experience designing, integrating and consuming REST APIs
• Extensive knowledge of backend technologies:
  • Application Stack: React, Nodejs
  • Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Working knowledge of GIT / Agile Software Development practices (e.g. Scrumban)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines via GIT (e.g. BitBucket, Github)
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools for debugging and troubleshooting (e.g. Grafana)

Great to have

• Good understanding of Secure-by-design system design principles
• Working knowledge of authentication mechanisms and cryptographic principles
• Experience with large-scale application development (e.g. microservice architectures)
• Working knowledge of typical Frontend Stacks: React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Working knowledge of RBAC/ABAC access control models
• Working knowledge of Linux, bash/shell scripting

You will be part of the project implementation and maintenance support team. Your responsibilities include technical POC, low level design/workshop, project delivery, implementation, troubleshooting, testing, customer walk through, maintenance support and documentation. You are expected to work with our client’s IT department personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time on target, much to the satisfaction of both customers & company. Managing customer’s expectation is part of your job scope, which required of you to work closely with external & internal project team members. You are expected to be a fast leaner, to acquire technical implementation skill as and when needed due to business requirements. You need to have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill, so as to excel in supporting our customers. Your other responsibility will include technical pre-sales support to the sales team. You are expected to participate and contribute with a feasible SOW to ensure a timely and successful project implementation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering

· Minimum 5 years experiences implementation and administration with one or more of the following technologies:

o Citrix infrastructure

o Windows Server and its networking environment

o Microsoft Active Directory

o VMware infrastructure

o Server infrastructure

o Storage infrastructure

o VSAN/HCI

REQUIRED SKILL-SET

· System architecture including DR design experience is an advantage

· Strong knowledge in Data Centre operations, including managing Enterprise Data Centre.

· Experience on vSAN and HCI

· Able to work effectively in a team setting

· Decisive with the ability to multi-task

· Relevant technical certifications, such as Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft are preferred

· Overseas travelling may be needed and regional experience with neighbouring countries is a plus.
