Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly passionate and driven HR professional to join our pre-opening team for the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.

This will be an excellent opportunity for HR professionals to shape the culture and set the standards for Human Capital practices for the new Resort. The Talent Attraction Executive will do so by building a strong, passionate and talented workforce, one which embodies the values and spirit of our brand.

The incumbent will also deepen and advance their HR career by being involved in the formulation and setting up of the HR department and HR policies for the new Resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition Strategy - Develop a comprehensive talent attraction strategy to ensure that the Resort’s pre-opening manpower needs are met. The incumbent will identify and leverage an array of recruitment channels (e.g. social media, recruitment roadshows, job portals) to attract top talents for the Resort.
• Candidate Management and Experience - Take responsibility and own the entire recruitment process, from job advertisements, candidate identification, interviews and hiring. It is also paramount that the incumbent ensures a positive candidate experience, one which reflects our impeccable service culture and standards.
• Employer Branding - Develop and execute strategies to build and strengthen our value proposition as an Employer of Choice. This includes showcasing our value proposition through our recruitment channel and other avenues.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven track record of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to complete projects.

Working hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm

Salary up to $3800

Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Accountancy

Experience: Min 3 years accounting and finance experience

- Monitor and manage customer invoicing and receipts

- Follow up on outstanding payments

- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and handle reconciling issues

Accounts Executive (AP) Job scope:

• Processing of creditors invoices
• Account for and verifies all purchase orders, receive records (DO) and suppliers’ invoices (purchase invoices matching procedure)
• Raising of payments
• Reconciliation of vendor accounts/investigation of variances
• Communicate with staff / creditors regarding outstanding invoices and payments
• Input AP invoices and payments in the SUN system
• Prepare reconciliation of accruals, prepayments, and other Balance Sheet item
• Prepare various monthly schedules and reports as and when requested
• Reconciliation of AP Aging with GL account as well as suppliers SOA, Input GST to Trial Balance on monthly basis
• Assist in other requirements and related matters that affects General Ledger and accounting of hotel fixed asset and inventory matters

Accounts Executive (GL) Job scope:

• Compiling and meticulously recording daily sales transactions and ensuring balance reconciliation
• Preparing and processing monthly journals for month-end closings
• Conducting General Ledger and Bank reconciliations
• Verifying and processing petty cash and expense claims while updating the SUN accounting system
• Maintaining fixed assets records and preparing depreciation and amortization schedules
• Plan and conduct yearly assets and inventory counts
• Managing capital expenditure requests (CER)
• Providing assistance to the Accountant in ensuring compliance with external audits, GST, and Corporate Income Tax
• Supporting the Accountant in various ad hoc when required
