Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve on the Quality Management System.
• Assist in ensuring company and business units comply with the company’s standards, customer requirements, local statutory regulations, and International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards.
• Monitor and ensure all company documentation aligns with dnata Documentation System Standards.
• Monitor the accessibility and dissemination of all airline customer manuals to stakeholders.
• Lead the quality assurance program to ensure operations follow standards.
• Plan and conduct annual internal audits with qualified auditors for business units and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct inspections for the company via the d-auditor tool.
• Review work processes and workflows to improve operational effectiveness and meet KPIs.
• Facilitate external audits with stakeholders and monitor corrective and preventive measures (accreditation ISO 9001, ISAGO, and Airline Station Audits).
• Analyze and prepare data from audits, compliance checks, or other areas as requested for management reporting.
• Collaborate with HQ on projects (e.g., dnata hub modules) as part of continuous improvement.
• Support and assist in workplace incident investigations (if required).
• Review and update the corporate management manual and implement solutions to resolve quality issues.
• Support departments assigned to the company’s Crisis Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree/Diploma in Aviation Management from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience managing Quality Management Systems, preferably in airline or aviation services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISAGO, and experience in audits.

This role is similar to a (junior) chief of staff to the Co-founder (COO&CFO) of a Pre-A startup. Notwithstanding the job description listed below, your role would be anything and everything that the Co-founder is currently in charge of. There will be a mixture of everything that is not too technical (everyone else in the company is highly technical) and I need someone to offload my work. There will be times when you have to work on construction sites like everyone else in the company. It is hot, dirty, dusty, and overall not a pleasant experience. We do anything and everything necessary based on the ever changing situation. Either engineers with a strong business acumen or business school graduates with reasonable engineering interest can apply.

Fabrica AI is creating a future where ideating and developing a robot for any task takes days, not years. We believe that by training end to end controls in simulation with reinforcement learning and above that iterating hardware designs, we can automate the whole development process.

To validate our approaches for our AI system and to collect data, we invented an automatic tile grouting robot that boosts productivity by up to 5x and are piloting it on construction sites in Singapore managed by Woh Hup, BHCC, Gin Chia, Soilbuild, Chan Rong Fen, and Dragages. Tile grouting is the process of filling up the gaps between tiles after the tiles have been laid. We invented a patented robot that is able to automatically grout and clean tile gaps with only a press of a button.

We’ve raised over 3m USD from Hoxton Ventures, Credo Ventures, our Professor from Cambridge University, Woh Hup, ffVC, and the owner of BHCC (listed construction company). We’ve 2500sqft of space in Singapore where we have over 20 team members, and 1200sqft of space in Czechia where we have our software team.
