• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take the leading role to facilitate the transition of a New Instrument from initial concept into volume production, utilizing Solidworks PDM as the primary design tool.
• Identify and plan improvement actions to for Production Productivity, Product Cost and User Experience.
• Carry out qualification in a structured manner to enable implementation of solution on a life-science equipment.
• Complete documentation of design solution and ensures that documentation is sufficient for production and field implementation.
• Work with vendors to ensure parts specifications are sufficient to meet Standard Biotool’s product requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters or Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5 to 6 year experience in a mechanical design environment, using Solidworks PDM system.
• Skilled in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in practical applications.
• Experienced in new product introduction of systems comprising precision optical, pneumatics and motion controls.
• Experience in ISO 13458 would be an advantage.
