Fabrica AI is creating a future where ideating and developing a robot for any task takes days, not years. We believe that by training end to end controls in simulation with reinforcement learning and above that iterating hardware designs, we can automate the whole development process. At the current stage, the most important resource is a large fleet of robots to validate our approaches for our AI system and to collect data. This would help keep us grounded in reality.

To start building up the fleet, we invented an automatic tile grouting robot that boosts productivity by 5x and are piloting it on construction sites in Singapore managed by Woh Hup, BHCC, Gin Chia, Soilbuild, and Dragages. This should correspond to about 30% of the Singaporean market. We have early leads in the US and Europe as well. Tile grouting is the process of filling up the gaps between tiles after the tiles have been laid. Grouting is part of virtually every construction project and a highly laborious process, is considered one of the most physically damaging tasks resulting in tilers’ knees and back issues, and thus quality issues would also arise. We invented a patent pending robot that is able to automatically grout and clean tile gaps with only a press of a button. The operators would only need to reload grout and water.

We have also pitched at the Built Environment Demo Day 2022 organised by BCA as part of the International Built Environment Week (IBEW) and won the Rising Star Award. IBEW has drawn more than 10,000 individuals from over 100 countries.

Your internship would revolve around real-world industry deployments taking us from a TRL of 7 to 9. You may be remunerated with a combination of salary and share options. 1. Mechanical experiments and design
   • Experiments - e.g. designing variations to the grout extruder to allow less waste and better reliability

2. Mechanical manufacturing, assembly and testing

We are representing our client (A Software Engineering Firm) to look for IT Support Engineer to complement their existing team. The IT engineer is responsible for day to day operation of Premise Exchange and O365 services. Ensuring high-availability and uninterrupted 24/7 messaging services for the company. He will reports to the Messaging and Mobility Manager.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Microsoft on-prem Exchange, Exchange Online, Intune, Boardpaper (Sharepoint) and SMTP email operational support to internal customers covering all Servers, Backup and Mail Relays
• Daily monitoring and acting on alerts.
• Provide support to BoardPaper and BOD
• Provide second level end user support/managing ticket queue.
• Support regular upgrade and security patching of the servers, appliance, equipment and application
• Prepare monthly report and statistics.
• Conduct regular upgrade and security patching of the servers, appliance and equipment
• Support Projects such as Migration and Intune Deployment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Good working knowledge of Exchange 2016 and O365
• Good working knowledge of MDM Intune.
• Experience with working directly with vendors on new features and roadmaps.
• Ability to identify / prioritize tasks and work independently without micromanagement.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication and documentation skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Drives internal and 3rd party service provider/ vendor review meetings covering issues, performance, service improvements, quality and processes

2. Assist as Subject Matter Expert and drive organizational capability to effectively apply service operations and maintenance framework

3. Troubleshoot and resolution of service health issues and bring relevant parties to resolve impediments impacting service performance

4. Assist in blueprints for operational support material for disciplines of applications are concise and complete, covering (internal security and technology standards)

5. Organise system activities including planned maintenance events, system backup processes and disaster recovery drills

6. Provide guidance to the team to ensure the best support and best standarization of approaches possible for systems availability

7. Support and assist in high severity incidents and drive problem management meetings

8. Collaborate with multiple internal teams across disparate groups to restore services when incidents occurred, gather required experts to perform root cause analysis for problem resolution

9. Assist senior leaders in disaster recovery planning and activities

10. Perform troubleshooting, testing and baseline assessment in lower environment to check on operational issue reported by users prior to escalation to the next level for investigation

11. Support testing for Major Project enhancements or Change Requests if possible

12. Create, maintain, and ensure project documentations such as process documents, operations document, etc. are filed and keep up to date with proper versioning control

Requirement / Qualifications

1. Successful track record in enterprise application support, user and vendor liaison for small to mid-scale projects

2. Experience in assessment of requirements feasibility, functional and technical design, and involved in project life cycle

3. Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and ability to work independently

4. Strong competency in IT technologies covering operating systems, databases technologies, etc

5. Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business

6. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teams from other departments, hospital departments and/or vendors

7. Proficient in MS Office and basic understanding of Windows Servers and MS SQL/MySQL

8. Installation and setup of retail POS system experience will be an advantage

9. Able to provide support outside working hours. Support may be required during non-working hours or weekends/public holidays.

10. Experience in healthcare industry is added advantage

11. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
