Responsibilities

• Manage the conceptualization, development, validation and implementation of new repair technologies
• Manage the acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions and ancillary fixtures/ tooling for implementing new repair processes
• Implement and deliver new repairs by designing and fabricating repair fixtures/ tooling; developing process parameters; and validating repair set-up through First Article Inspection
• Provide technical assistance to all functional departments to meet business objectives
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Material Science, Mechanical engineering or related field
• Good knowledge in component repair processes (welding, machining, painting, inspection etc)
• Possess good communication, analytical, engineering and project management skills
• Good technical problem solving skills (Six sigma), takes ownership and hands-on approach
• Familiarity with digital manufacturing and/or proficiency in CNC programming is an advantage
• Able to multi-task and work well under pressure as an individual/ team

The Aerospace Technician/Certifying Staff realizes mechanical and electrical maintenance operations while continuously optimizing delays and costs and respecting quality, security and environmental procedures.

Job Requirements

• Carry out maintenance operations in accordance to work order and customer’s order
• Control, test and measure as required by the working documents (CMM, internal repair method) by using appropriate metrological tools (millimetres, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, specific mechanical benches, etc.)
• Inform the Engineering of abnormalities
• Disassemble equipment in compliance with the constructor’s documentation and the CMM (Component Maintenance Manuel)
• Wash and strip the equipment’s parts
• Elaborate with the coordinator a technical quotation for the refurbishing of the equipment: workforce, materials and delays
• Order substitution the elements, repair and reassemble the equipment in compliance with the CMM (at reception of customer’s consent)
• Transmit the equipment file to Certifying staff
• Establish for each phase of the process, the needed documents for the repaired equipment’s traceability
• Adherance to Safety Standards in handling aircraft safety components
• Certify aircraft components for release to service
• Ensure clean workspace
• Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance:

• To perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and able to repair basic equipment including mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose basic to intermediate troubleshoot problems and implement appropriate solutions to restore equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
• Perform preventive maintenance work assigned.

2. Facility Upkeep:

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.
• Coordinate and perform basic to intermediate repairs and adjustments to maintain a safe and well-maintained working environment.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to address safety and compliance concerns promptly.

4. Equipment Installation and Calibration:

• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, machinery, or systems.
• Support basic to intermediate process modification and project.

5. Inventory Management:

• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Works with Maintenance inventory and facility team to order and restock supplies as needed to minimize downtime.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address complex maintenance issues and projects.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and management regarding maintenance status, updates, and recommendations.

7. Training and Development:

• To provide basic training to new and unskilled technician

Job Requirements:

• Minimum O level or equivalent; diploma/certificate or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint, add advantage if familiar with CMMS

Responsibilities:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical/electrical services, plumbing, sanitary services, ACMV systems, chillers, and electrical controls.
• Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Addressing customer inquiries, needs, and complaints while ensuring excellent service.

Requirements:

• Possess a Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ACMV and facilities management.
• Able to commit to Shift Work and Overtime.
• Positive attitude, good interpersonal and customer-centric skills.
