3. Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.
4. Ensure compliance to Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

Main Duties & Responsibilities :

1. Manage day-to-day maintenance services of electrical and field instruments in the process plant.
2. Lead in the investigation/trouble-shoot of instrument fault or failure and provide effective and viable corrective and preventive action.
3. Analyse and improve equipment reliability of plant to prevent recurrence with production group and contractors.
4. Good knowledge and hand-on experience with DCS and PLC system.
5. Prepare long-term maintenance plan for plant instrument, CV, Motor & Electrical Equip etc.
6. Manage annual shutdown maintenance (Work planning, Management of actual site work, Liaising with contractors and production group).
7. Manage in-house contractors to execute maintenance timely and effectively.
8. Manage inventory control, quality of in-house contractor and vendor work.
9. Responsible to ensure ISO/Mandatory calibration document, instrument files and work order documentation is timely complete with accurate in accordance with SOP
10. Develop, revise and review of SOPs for maintenance/inspection of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment (eg. TI, TT, PI, PT, CV, on/off valve, motor, Switchgear, MCC etc.).
11. Prepare documentation pertaining to procedures, qualities and safety of maintenance work.
12. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with AKSS EHS policies.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation engineering or the equivalent.
2. Min 5 years of experience as an E&I Engineer in chemical plant.
3. Basic understanding of maintenance technology, equipment, instruments, electrical and manufacturing process.
4. Demonstrate ability to manage contractors/vendor independently and effectively.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good experience deploying and configuring software Windows Server OS (2016 onwards)

Job Scope :

- Driving Root Cause analysis in problem diagnosis from customer anomaly to ensure problem prevention and resolution implementation ensuring effectiveness

- Management of Change communication to customer for approval to implementation

- Develop, implement, and improve the department and product total quality system to assure product specification is met

- Facilitate and work with team members on quality improvement to the product by providing technical guidance in QE tools applications

- Perform quality system or process audit to assure quality systems are in place

- Support the viper manufacturing in ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required

- Establish & Implement manufacturing quality metrics and lead team on to achieve the goal and continuous improvement
