Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with degrees in other engineering disciplines (e.g., Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering) with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Experience in facility infrastructure management, particularly in specialised laboratory or research environments.
• Expertise in designing and managing ACMV systems, and other critical building systems.
• Strong background in project management, particularly in complex built environments.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for specialised laboratories, including safety protocols for handling hazardous biological and chemical materials.
• Experience with Government Procurement practices, including green procurement initiatives.
• Proficiency in building management systems and CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex infrastructure challenges.

Areas of Responsibility

• Work with internal / external customers and the operations teams to retrieve and compile responses and/or resolve enquiries for customers in an efficient manner and within Company policies and performance guidelines
• Provide technical knowledge and responses for customers, answer their queries, clarify results and provide testing guidance all in a timely manner
• To ensure customer information and contacts are recorded correctly in a timely and appropriate manner by: - Entering, updating & maintaining customer information and contracts in LIMS - Recording all call reports/complaints/referrals/quotations etc. into LIMS & SharePoint - Following up on incomplete/incorrect work ensuring that corrective action is put in place to avoid repeats - Following up on incorrect invoices - Coordinating/arranging sample collections for local customers - Coordinating with subcontracted labs in getting quotes, reports and invoices
• Prepare quotations for existing and new customers as per advice from Sales Team
• Provide training for customers to utilize company’s online portal as per request

Job Requirements

• Technical/science tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
• Prefer Food Science or related discipline
• At least 2 years customer service experience, preferably in laboratory testing industry

Air Export/Import Responsibilities

• Facilitate Air Way Bill (AWB) draft for customer's/Forwarder's/Overseas Agents to check before proceeding
• Request CIPL to prepare draft permit before shipment arrives
• Liaise with Customers & overseas Agents
• Once the cargo is at warehouse , waiting for confirmation of pcs, weight and dimensions to key in correct detail to the system & print out the AWB original copy
• Submission submit FWB, FHL, permit
• Send pre-alert, do billing, send emails, related to operation - AIR Export
• Waiting for pre-alert either release or arrange delivery
• Go to the warehouse to check the cargo if there are any discrepancies
• Liaise with Customers & overseas Agents, check email
• Pre-declare Customs permits
• Submission Shot detail through the website system (CCN) to Singapore Customs.
• Do billing, send emails, etc.. related to operation - AIR Import

• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
