• Design and obtain full basic design approval (FBDA) and detail engineering approval (DEA) from classification society dimension for semi-submersible platform/floater to accommodate large 15-22MW Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT)
• Prepare and calculate overall floater design, tank capacity, towing & operation draft, mooring and anchor system arrangements of FOWT floater
• Prepare design briefs and/or technical specifications for stability analysis, coupled load analysis, hydrodynamic analysis, aerodynamic analysis, mooring analysis, structural design, etc. of FOWT floater
• Prepare technical specification for cathodic protection and mooring system installation of FOWT floater
• Perform Mooring analysis report in time domain of FOWT floater
• Perform Hydrodynamic and wave load analysis report in time domain of FOWT floater
• Perform Coupled Load analysis report in time domain of FOWT floater
• Perform Stability analysis report of FOWT floater
• Perform overall philosophy, lifting, installation, transport and load out analysis report of FOWT floater
• Perform lifting, towing (dry and wet) and float-over and installation analysis report of FOWT floater
• Perform ocean basin model test specification of FOWT floater
• Perform 3D model numerical simulation of FOWT floater
• Perform and monitor the weight and central of gravity report of FOWT floater
• Perform motion, air gap and freeboard analysis report
• Review, analyse and comment methodologies and results from external specialist
• Responsible to liaise and close all comments with classification societies pertaining to FBDA and DEA of FOWT floater
• Prepare technical reports, applications, memo, etc. for patent of intellectual property of FOWT floater

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor Degree of Marine Engineering or Naval Architect
• Min. 10 years of working experiences related to Marine & Offshore Structure Design including both basic/conceptual design and detail design.
• Possess experiences or knowledge of wind farm foundation, offshore sub-station, floater wind design and analysis will be preferred
• Familiar with jack-up vessel, heavy lifting vessel, Cable Laying vessel design and calculation
• Must be familiar in using AutoCAD plus at least 2 other engineering software: SESAM / ORCAFELX / GHS / SACS
• Lead in-house team to analysis/ calculation/ design support structure, sea fastening, mooring, ballasting, stability and towing plan for sea transportation, load out, heavy lifting / installation.
• Familiar in Marine & Offshore Industrial standards and codes.
• Team player & communication skills when interacting with both Client & Third Party.
• Subsea civil engineering experience will be advantage.
• May require short term travel.
