Job Description:
•Account administration, Log management and extraction.
•Job management; Session management.
•Service configuration and management.
•Monitor and finetune the performance of the middleware.
•Assist to on board and deploy existing and new applications.
•Communicate and coordinate with representatives and other application vendors using the same middleware to minimise downtime for any activities on the middleware.
•Coordinate with infrastructure FM team on all infrastructure matters, including operating system, backup, capacity and etc.
•Report and assist on security related incident and activities.
•Coordinate with the principal vendor of the middleware to obtain the latest and necessary firmware and software patches.
•Provide monthly report on patch status, activities conducted, and to forecast activities.
•Monitor the Systems to ensure security, data integrity and efficient performance.
•Monitor, schedule and ensure successful completion of ad-hoc, daily, weekly, monthly and other batch reporting and processing jobs of the related to the Systems.
•Provide corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and isolate defects, including diagnosis and correction of all latent errors in the Systems.
•Manage and implement changes to the Systems to minimize impact on Solution Availability.
•Attend to user queries and provide support to them in the daily operations of the Systems.
•Propose and implement operational procedures such as system back-up, recovery, deployment and monitoring and work with the infrastructure FM team to implement the proposed procedures.
•Plan and propose continual improvements of the Systems and the system infrastructure, interfaces with internal and/or external systems,
•Migration of Systems to Cloud environments.
Must have Skill/Technology
•Proven experience as a Middleware Tech Lead or in a similar role.
•Proficiency in Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere and experience working within Linux and Windows Server environments.
•Knowledge of security best practices and experience addressing system vulnerabilities.
•Familiarity with SOAP APIs and service development for system integration
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
