Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and perform in-depth analyses to improve blast resistance in precast structures and assess the risk of progressive collapse in flat slab systems.
• Develop and implement innovative methods and solutions to enhance building safety and structural resilience.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, test, and optimize new materials and construction techniques.
• Provide expert guidance on blast mitigation strategies and progressive collapse prevention in project planning.
• Ensure project compliance with safety standards while contributing to the university’s mission of fostering innovation and protecting community welfare.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of blast effects on structures and progressive collapse analysis
• Familiarity with blast resistance safety standards
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Experience with precast concrete structure design and analysis
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD.
• Competent in analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
