· Plans and conducts operational, financial and compliance audit. Audit process documentation, risk identification and assessment, evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring compliance with established Group policies and procedures

· Interpret audit results, develop value adding recommendations to mitigate the risks and prepare audit reports

· Make written recommendations to Management and business process owners to increase efficiency and /or effectiveness of the control systems of functions reviewed

· Performed special investigations as requested by the Board or Audit Committee

· To undertake any other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Meticulous and able to work with huge volume of data to compile into detailed reports

· Strong analytical and interpersonal skill with positive learning attitude

· Independent, yet able to work in a team and handle stress to deliver under tight datelines

· Proficient in MS Office

· Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

· Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent with at least 1 year of audit working experience

Job Requirements:

Awards Management

• To support the team in the administration of awards (scholarships and bursaries). This includes publicising the awards and organising the interview sessions for the selection of the recipients and coordinating with Finance Department to ensure proper and timely disbursement of the awards.
• To assist to determine the premise, criteria, award amount and disbursement methods in collaboration with the sponsoring partners where available.
• To work closely with the Volunteers team to encourage the Award recipients to be volunteers.
• To support in developing and implementing strategies to engage and attract corporate donors to support Yayasan MENDAKI’s programmes and Education Trust Fund (ETF) scheme and/or to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarship or bursaries.
• To support the team in networking with potential and/or existing partners (i.e. volunteers and donors) for collaboration on the provision of community resources as well as the delivery of programmes.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Volunteer & Grant Management

• To support the team in developing, reviewing and implementing strategies to attract individuals to volunteer with Yayasan MENDAKI to help in the delivery of its programmes.
• To support the team in the management of volunteers including the recruitment, training, engaging, deployment and reward of volunteers.
• Work closely with other units in Partnerships and other departments to encourage beneficiaries to volunteer with MENDAKI.
• To support and maintain the database of partners, donors, volunteers, and award winners.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships with social service organisations, community stakeholders, corporate partners
• Work closely with the Awards team to encourage the Award recipients to be volunteers.
• Network with potential and/or existing stakeholders for collaboration on the provision of community resources as well as the delivery of programmes.
• Assist the team with grant application process and evaluation.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Summary:

Yayasan MENDAKI’s Perform in School Department (PSD) focuses on preparing our children to be resilient & future-ready – particularly in the Primary and Secondary School level. PSD looks into Academic Support Intervention through our MENDAKI Tuition Programmes (MTP) for our school goers. We will also engage parents and children in our Empowerment Programmes to enhance our knowledge and discuss current affairs pertaining to education.

You will be supporting PSD in various department functions – from Event Management to Data Management & Administration, as an intern and will have opportunities to learn and work in meaningful and holistic projects for the community’s school goers and their family.

You may be expected to work between speculated times on weekdays but also be required to work on evenings and over weekends, to support PSD events and/or programmes. (claimable via working hours time-off).

Job Requirements:

1. Assist officer-in-charge on the overall planning, administration and management, and operational deliverables of the MENDAKI Tuition Programmes.
2. Supporting PSD Data Team in distributing, collecting, analysing and reporting of data and research for all PSD’s Academic Support Intervention Empowerment programmes.
3. Upkeep the database of programme for programme administration, evaluations, and audits.
