• Junior Data Engineer with Minimum 2 years of IT working experience
• Proficient in complex SQLs, Stored Procedures Hands-on experience in Teradata Data base will be an advantage.
• Knowledge in Data Warehousing/Big Data and working experience of ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, Ab Initio, DataStage etc.
• Well versed with Unix commands and scripting.
• Good knowledge of scheduling tools (Control M, Autosys etc..).
• Strong familiarity of SDLC process, preferably Agile methodologies.
• Good Communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to communicate with Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Solution Architects when it comes to converting the design into specific data pipeline activities.
• To assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data loading, data quality, data cleansing and other data-related activities.
• Creating documentation, conducting testing, deliver codes with utmost quality.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Banking systems is a plus.
• Analytical and systematic thinking with methodical organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of different programming languages is beneficial.
