Job Responsibilites:
· Sort and distribute all mail
· Record all incoming Registered/Express Post mail
· Prepare and list cheques as per cheque handling procedures required by Finance
· Deliver mail to nominated areas on the floors
· Collect outgoing mail from floors, sort and record same
· Check and process purchase orders in iProcurement system
· Assist with stocking of copy paper on all floors
· Assist with the set up of client and staff meeting/functions as required
· Assist with movement of furniture and operable walls as needed
· Dispatch and retrieval of archive boxes from external supplier
· Prepare consignment notes for international mail satchels and freight
· Prepare local Post manifest totalling daily outgoing mail
· Assist with supervision of external contractors attending site
· Provide relief coverage for switchboard and other mailroom team members when required
· Any other facilities tasks related to smart office as directed by the Facilities Coordinator
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Required
· A proven background in the field of facility or similar related discipline
· Working knowledge of the statutory requirements and their application in OH&S and knowledge of government agencies and key client framework
· Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Access
