o Develop strong customer service ethos being the client’s first and main touchpoint.
o Interact with clients to acquire a good understanding of their business and issues applicable to their industry sector.
o Ensure collection of underwriting information on new accounts and renewals, assist with claims and any other issues.
o Strategize and liaise with Facultative Placement Team to deliver effective insurance solutions to suit client requirements.
o Overall account management for key clients and act as liaison/point person for all matters relating to those key clients.
o Co-ordinate and ensure accurate and prompt documentation, including reinsurance slips, policies, endorsements, invoices, notices of assignment, etc.
o Promote added value services–risk engineering, risk consulting, claims preparation and claims advocacy as may be appropriate to clients.
o Be aware of potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims team in negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
o Target new projects and clients and develop a healthy new business pipeline.
o Generate revenue growth and new opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing clients.
o Create defense strategies for successful retention of existing client accounts.
o Communicate effectively to team on mutual goals.
o Cover the markets as per internal guidelines, review and negotiate best terms for clients.
o Confirm renewal/placement of risks with carriers in accordance with internal standards.
o Ensure proper closure with carriers with complete and accurate documentation.
o Adopt consultative approach to plans/strategies for achievement of team goals.
