• Prepare assessment materials such as case studies and scoresheet
• Coordinate time slots for assessments

Tracking of performance

• Prepare tracking sheet weekly, monthly and quarterly to monitor the progress of advisors
• Provide timely updates to the Training Division Director

Administrative (with the Training Assistant):

• Create and maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)
• Coordinate booking of training rooms and prepare set-up
• Send timely reminders of upcoming training sessions
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Description

The NUS Centre for International Law (CIL) is seeking applications from motivated and committed candidates for a 2-year position as Senior Research Fellow for its Energy Law and Policy Programme (ELP).

The ideal candidate would be interested in working on globally-oriented energy governance issues with a regional focus, particularly topical issues of a cross-cutting nature. CIL encourages its research staff to develop independent and joint research within its areas of focus. Candidates with interdisciplinary research experience/perspectives are encouraged to apply.

In addition to conducting research, the Senior Research Fellow is expected to assist in planning and organising international and regional conferences, workshops and training courses for government officials; and to be involved in drafting background papers and/or reports for such events.

In the case of cross-cutting issues, the Senior Research Fellow is expected to collaborate with other research teams within CIL to ensure efficient and effective research outcomes. He/ She is also expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal knowledge base as well as efforts to keep the CIL website and other research-related social media platforms up to date.

The successful candidate can look forward to working at the forefront of governance issues as part of the global energy transition and contributing to shaping the future of energy governance at both the global and regional levels. Those with prior experience leading research projects will be favourably considered.
• Candidates with a particular interest in Southeast Asia and its regional institutions are strongly encouraged to apply.

What’s the role?

As a Senior Fireman, you are expected to perform the following activities:

· Respond to fire, rescue and emergencies as a crew leader or as crew member.

· Lead and take charge of fire-fighters and auxiliary fire-fighters in peacetime and emergency.

· Pre-planning fire exercise, fire service drills participate in ‘live’ fire training.

· Perform periodic maintenance of Fire Tenders and equipment.

· Service mobile fire equipment, breathing apparatus, Fire Tenders, fire extinguishers and radio sets.

· Man fire control room and keep records.

· Drive Class 4 (Heavy Vehicle) and Class 5 (Locomotives), vehicles and operate pumps onboard.

· Perform housekeeping of fire station premises.

· Test fixed fire protection/fighting systems.

· Test and operate fire pumps.

· Service hydrants, block valves and fixed fire protection system inlet connections.

· Maintain, test and refill BA cylinders.

· Work safe and comply with regulatory requirements and standard.

What we need from you

We are keen to talk to individuals with the following:

· Minimum ITE diploma holder

· At least 5 year’s experience as a firefighter in a fire station

· Must be physically fit / have passed IPPT (Silver Award)

· Possess minimum Class 4 driver’s license, preferable Class 5

· Able to do minor maintenance of fire-fighting equipment.

· Able to perform fire rescue, no fear of heights

· Possess communication skills and instructional ability.

· Having skills and knowledge of refinery fire-fighting is an advantage.
