The Role
The Digital Executive will be part of the Asian Tour Communications team who produce and manage content before, during and after events.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Posting finished content (photo, video, text and graphics - some formatting may be required) as instructed across Asian Tour digital platforms (website, apps, social media channels and Digital Media Centre)
- Interacting with fans as they respond to posted content and proactively engaging with the wider digital world of golf, sports and news on social media
- Assisting the team with archiving content
- Assisting with compiling reports and analysis
- Pushing content to players on Socialie
- Responding to ad-hoc requests from the communications team
- Assisting with content uploads to Intranet and sharing content internally
- Support for CEO Communications
The Candidate
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious young professional who is hungry for experience working in sports marketing and communications as part of a global leader in one of the world’s biggest sports.
The ideal candidate should have a core set of skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing social media channels, ideally with an understanding of trends in content and engagement on platforms
- Capacity to deal with tight deadlines, follow guidance and multitask
- Calm, accountable and organised, who is quick and eager to learn
- Academic background in communications and marketing
- Strong knowledge of golfing world and sports
- Capable of taking initiative within boundaries of responsibilities
- Fluent English
- Good team player and enjoys working closely with others
